I just want a romance where I get to actually talk to the person more than three times then a roll in the hay. Is that too much to ask?
DA2 did that. I don't normally say good things about that-game-I-happen-to-think-is-poopy, but hey

Play as a Femquisitor instead of an Inquisidude if you can
Yes, nothing to do but to play female character. Viv and Cass don't cut it for me so there is nothing really tying me to male character anymore anyway, might as well play as a female for the very first time in bioware games. ![]()
Still I'm a little disappointed.
I wonder who will be the gay only option. I'm hoping for Dorian.
Ironically you could probably roleplay the Inquisitor as being Traynor who fell through a black hole or something and popped out of the Fade (Traynor and Trevelyan, the second could totally be a fake surname) and have her date Sera, considering the VA.
Does this happen if you picked the Green ending?

The Saren Ending? Must be.

I want to be able to not pick a class, just be a peasant who hoards bees in jars.
Clearly Bioware should make a game out of Robin Mckinley's Chalice. Actually I would buy that so fast I'd go back in time and have to wait twice as long.

You're certainly not alone. But hopefully with the long dev time and this being their big comeback, we'll get it. There's been a lot of talk about the romances each having their own stories, which sounds promising.

Either that or Thedas is what happened to all the ME survivors on the Normandy- society, without tech and control over biotics, became a magical, feudal era world.
Ahh, aww well. I'm male as well but I got no problem playing as female characters. The difference being that when I play male characters, I can role-play them more as myself, while with female characters its more role-playing an established character that specifically isn't me. The difference between seeing a world through my own eyes and reading a book, of sorts.
Maybe you'll find another option that suits you though!
I'll play a female after I play Qunari. I already have my first 3 characters set up so I was picking which LIs I wanted for them and I know I want(I hope) my Trevelyan warrior to romance Cassandra and I guess my mage with scribbles.i know it's weird I thought that far ahead but I had a lot of spare time. And I have just started playing as a female in Origins a month ago and I did make her lesbian but it feels more like I'm role playing as myself in a Dragon Age game, it's still kind of fun I guess...just different.
True, but I just wanted it to be more in-depth. Although There were some dialogue that had their moments.
Lets just hope Inquisition does it better. ![]()

I personally never think that far ahead with my characters. I'll entertain the idea of what they'll be insofar as gender and race, possibly class and appearance, but story wise, relationship wise, thats up to the game when I get it. ![]()

Let's all just roll David Gaider for our Race, Class, and Gender.

I want to imagine our world is an RPG, and some guy who is really regretting his stat choices is watching me type innuendos on a videogame message board at two in the morning.

bringin' back the secret easter egg god mode, i see

And I think that's the best idea since you actually learn more about them. Also, you find out if you're gonna hate them or not. I guess I'm cool with Sera being lesbian as long as my Inquisitor gets to hopelessly flirt with her until she demands I give it up since she's lesbian and I get mad at her. Yeah, that be cool. If I could of kicked Traynor out of my quarters in ME3 after she denied me(Co-mmander She-pard!) sex, I'd be a happy dude...well, until the ending of course ![]()

Heck yeah. Why not?
True! Imagine being able to punch a dragon out the sky in HD

We're like the weirdest RPG protagonists ever, basically.
Yes. In fact, in DA: Inquisition, none of the companions will speak with you before you have sex with them.

"Snark is my ally, and a powerful ally it is."
Don't you hate when you're walking around and people keep trying to have consensual, no strings attached sex with you?

David Gaider uses dragons for Napkins.

Ah, that makes sense. Hey, give me a game with romance, I go crazy with it because I like creating stories were the heroes always gets the girl.
