Thank goodness for that.

 

Am I one of the last that holds onto the faint glimmer of hope that Varric will be available as a romance?  In this case, the racial gating wouldn't affect me.  My first Inquisitor is going to be a dwarf.  I'm a nerd; I couldn't resist the very very faint link to Shale via the name Cadash.  

 

Plus, playing a dwarf is what got me into the story to my first completion in Origins, so it seems fitting for me to keep that tradition.

I wanted to play a dwarf, but I wanted the heavy WoW Scottish accent. Once you go wow dwarf, there is no going back imo. Everything else just pales in comparison.

Isn't there another group of dwarves now? Don't give up hope!

Although I don't think some of his fans having "LET US BANG THE DWARF" in their signatures helps any.   I know I'd be less inclined to add him as a romance if folks starting doing that, but thankfully I don't work for a huge game company either.

Haha, yeah. I try to stay away from stuff like that. I was one of the first few on here asking about a Tali romance in later games post Mass Effect 1, and look how that turned out.

All her life, she'd never seen psycho. She'd never gotten around to it, but never knew anything about it and KEPT IT THAT WAY. She knew it was really good and wanted to be surprised. She was planning to watch it after she finished studies for last year of uni. 

It gets to the amazing day when she can sit down and watch it, all alone with her popcorn. She turns on the TV, starts the film... 

 

 

Her dad walks past the TV, takes a look and goes,

So, I wonder who all the romances will be?  I mean, there is the companions (with one exception) and the advisers.  We know that one of them is out, due to being a previous LI.   Also, could this mean that all of the companions are romancable by at least someone?

Gay--Dorian.  Not sure why yet

 

Bi--Iron Bull.  It seems likely, but I'm not sure if it's not just another tease* like Vega was in ME3

Bi--Cassandra

 

Straight--Cullen* or Varric

Straight--Vivienne, "Scribbles" (okay, that poor girl needs a name already)

 

Unavailable--Varric, possibly Iron Bull, Solas

I'm just sayin', with past DA games I generally hear at least SOME love for the dude LIs. This game, everyone is going HARD for the female LIs (with the exception of one otherwise-self-identifying-as-a-lesbian girl who keep talking about Iron Bull and how her dwarfquisitor is gonna be the 'queen of his d*ck-throne')
