After a couple minutes staring at the picture ... I still can't see the feminity of that Qunari/Vashoth. Don't know if I'm (being male and all that) too biased by genre female standards, but I do see no resemblance akin to the earlier Qunari female concept art that was floating about during DAII times (you guys will know which concept art I'm talking about).

That makes this Femqunisitor either a bad example, or me a bad audience.

Damnit, now I want to know more about the character creator, because I'm a misogynic pig and want my women to be pleasing to look at!

Nah man, you have a right to voice your opinion. There's plenty of people that want feminine beauties. It's just nice to have rugged female as an option.

She's so beautiful and awesome  .

I'm sticking with dwarf for my first one, but after that it's straight on to female qunari mage.

she's beautiful. although, i imagine there are going to be very diff looking female and male qunari inquisitor's running around. seeing as how you customize them in the CC.

but this is good version, too.

I think she looks brilliant. Powerful, like a Qunari should be, with no concessions to her strength and size just because she is female. Sure, everyone has a preferred aesthetic and the character creator can hopefully accommodate that, but I love the way that particular Inquisitor looks.

I'm fairly pleased with how she looks, considering we'll have a character creator. I do want mine to look a bit more feminine, though.

I hoped for Draenei too. Sorry, I'm that guy ;p . But other than that, I seriously don't think she's well designed compared to male qunari. When I saw her the first time on a previous thread it seemed to me like an elf with horns on steroids.

What do you guys think?

All my characters will be female qunaris.

Then I'm glad they didn't listen to "that guy." Seriously, the Draeni are probably the stupidest, most over sexed race in any game(the WoW community even freaked out when the "new" model that actually looked more similar to the male was released as an April Fool's joke)

ahem

Right, that said, the Qunari have always kinda been a human+elf+horns mix. Though their ears are different, much more "bovine," lending to them being called "oxmen".

I like my protagonists to either be good-looking or hideous CHUDs. I can't work with "somewhere in the middle."

To those who think she looks ugly, I'm sure you will be able to make a more feminine/ prettly looking Qunquizzy in the CC. I think she looks awesome though tbh.

Or it doesn't look *humanly* feminine to us, because she's not human?

Not all females of other races have to look what humanity considers to be feminine.

If a female hanar looks exactly like a male hanar but always has 2 extra ridges or something instead of a massive pair of ****** and lipstick, what's wrong with that?

She's got some delightfully Maleficent-esque cheekbones, I'm ridiculously excited since a female qunari mage is my planned canon playthrough for this game.

I love that she doesn't necessarily conform to the "regular" standard of female beauty. She looks like a female Qunari, not a supermodel with horns. She looks like she could break a man's back over her knee. Very awesome. Digging her appearance immensely.

Plus, it's not like there's no character creator for those that want her to look more beautiful in a conventional sense.

Honestly I am soo happy this isn't a Draenei situation.

When they showed those pics of the male Qunari allot of people said he looked too human, that seems to be a common complaint here.

Wow... thats really good. Like really, really good. As a side note the armor design that we've seen so far has also been excellent as well.

The hair looks rather poor but that may be combination of early build and/or hair quality overall. Other than that, based on what little I saw it's impressive they went the direction they did. I like the outcome.

She's exactly the way I wanted a female qunari to look...I think this pretty much sums up my opinion. ;)

I like how people are judging this Inquisitor as if we dont have complete freedom as to how she will look,

if you dont like it, fix it.

How do I arpeegie?

Chin tattoo has got to go

Sorry, but every option just makes another chin tattoo. It's been confirmed. Some are drawn on mustaches.

I think that she is pretty good looking, for being a member of "gray horned giant" race :)

Let's say it in internetz-speak - 7/10, would bang :D

Those look very much humanoid female to me.

That said, I had already analyzed my own perception so I find it curious why you'd feel the need to question it a second time then, especially with such a weak argument.

Yes, and they got rid of that design because it was stupid for them to look that human.

I'm questioning it a second time because your analysis was similarly weak.

If you analyse yourself and conclude that you're being misogynistic, then why continue to be so?

As Plato's Protagoras says, you would need to be mad to tell people that you are a bad person with respect to things you yourself can improve.

Don't you think it is a bit presumptious for you to make that judgement on behalf of the developers, or do you have an article/interview/whatever you can refer me to that shows that's how the devs think?

Look, I don't like the design and I have more than appropriately reasoned exactly why I don't like it (seasoned with some hyperbolic self-criticism to drive the point home), so why do you go through such lenghts to try to tell me my opinion is wrong? It's an opinion, it's subjective and I don't require you or anyone else to share my aesthetic preferences.

How about agreeing on disagreeing?
