Don't you think it is a bit presumptious for you to make that judgement on behalf of the developers, or do you have an article/interview/whatever you can refer me to that shows that's how the devs think?

 

 

 

Look, I don't like the design and I have more than appropriately reasoned exactly why I don't like it (seasoned with some hyperbolic self-criticism to drive the point home), so why do you go through such lenghts to try to tell me my opinion is wrong? It's an opinion, it's subjective and I don't require you or anyone else to share my aesthetic preferences.

It's a little presumptuous - all theories have to be - but considering the complaint was widely raised it seems likely that this could be a valid reason for the reconsideration.

 

I would have been far more willing to agree to disagree if you did not take to insulting my argument rather than discussing it. My above point about misogyny still stands, although you may have preferred not to answer.

It was better than anything I could have dreamed, body wise at least. The faces look more humanoid than they were in DA2, but Iron Bull looks the same as well, so it's not like females only get that treatment. It's awesome 8D

The model in the video actually looks pretty much like this concept art to me.  Only thing that changed I can see is the more pronounced horns and exposed nostrils.

Agreed. The female qunari looks like a badass imo, but I would definitely change mine to look more feminine. And larger horns, preferably Arishok-sized.

Love it. Definitely not male, so it serves its intended purpose, but it doesn't conform to human perception either. Those having difficulty seeing her femininity kinda prove that point.

Seems appropriate, it would be rather unfitting if only the males had deformed bodies and faces because those honking big horns jutting out of their foreheads. No need for human with detachable playboy bunny horns.

 

The game needs bunnies with horns.  Hell, put horns on everything.

Is it me or her arms in the demo are smaller than they should be proportionally to her body? It always gets my attention.

Well you can customize the way your character looks right? So I wouldn't worry if the female Qunari in the vid isn't pretty enough for ya.

 

I personally liked all their appearances, although I still think that Sera's mouth is a little too big for her face. But I'm good overall. The only problem I have is that this game isn't being released sooner.

Female Qunari mage has been my choice for first playthrough since the moment it was announced so I'm happy I got a glimpse of what I'll be rocking exactly 4 months from now. I wonder what kind of hair colours you can have for he, or if it'll just be white.

The only misconception or rumor here would be people thinking that it is a dude, which they've stated that it isn't.

In my honest opinion, I think the design of the female Qunari is...well...perfect. Literally perfect. They aren't overly feminised in order to subscribe to human physical ideals (unlike the ones in the pre-da2 race chart thing) and they aren't 'conventionally' attractive. Just pure awesome, in my opinion.

That said, I had already analyzed my own perception so I find it curious why you'd feel the need to question it a second time then, especially with such a weak argument.

 

I was hoping the designs were similar to those in the pics. Sexy females with horns that can/will kick some ass.
