I was hoping the designs were similar to those in the pics.
I'd say they are. Forehead, nose, cheeks—all facial features. They're just detailed and fleshed out to be more qunari rather than sexy.

Yeah she got typical BW noodle arms. Which looks utterly laughable considering how wide she is.
There's a joke in there, but I'm not gonna say it, exactly because I'm not a misogynic pig.

Are you going to complain about how oppressed you are for the entire thread?

I'm pretty sure I only complained once.
This right there, in case you didn't notice, was a friendly ribshot to parody the earlier confrontation.

I like it better this way. It kinda looks silly to me when supposedly different species just look like recolored humans. I mean why not just use humans then?
Draenei females look nothing like humans. Why people bash them? ![]()

Is it confirmed that the different people in Thedas are species?
Because so far everything indicates that they are just different races, with interbreeding (elfXhuman is confirmed, humanXdwarf is strongly hinted at in the codex), which wouldn't be possible if they were different species.
And if that meant that elven, human, dwarf and qunari were just different races of the same species instead, it's not at all surpsrisingly they would look a lot alike.

I'm not convinced fantasyland ecology is that well conceived.
I am however convinced I like their female qunari design, I could see myself cheerfully playing a character similar to that. I look at it and think qunari rather than tall human. This completes my conversion from why would I want to play a qunari all the way over to I think I'll have one of them when I finally get to boot the thing up. Also, nice coat.
The female qunari looks... interesting. Certainly very unique! Can't wait to see the variety of faces the CC will have to offer, especially since a lady qunari is going to be my first Inquisitor....

Me too. ))

Does it matter? I've seen people complaining about Vivienne's lips (on Russian forums, but still), so...
Wait. Where did those badges come from?! edit: Nevermind. My eyes must've tricked me. Sleep deprivation, I guess. ))

Lips, ... lips is a new one, even for me. I mean, discussions about Varric's chesthair, been there, done that. Various other interesting stuff, it's BSN, come on.
But never had lips.
We have a Russian forum?

True, they could be related to humans in some way (aren't there hints in the comics that qunari are something mixed with dragons or something?) but it would be odd for the men to look way more radically different then the ladies without any explanation for that. I like that the Qunari have a sort of set look of Qunari traits and look suitably different from the humans.

And clear there no Africans in Russia.
I think she looks great. Pretty, but with a sort of ruff-n-tuffness about her. Not super-model beautiful like the DA2 sketches.
Looks fine. Probably "prettier"* than you could reasonably expect based on how the Dude Qunari look, but not so "pretty" as to be ridiculous.
Of course what really matters is good character creation options.
*probably not right word
I honestly think that the Iron Bull guy is prettier. The fem is hopeless!

You're kidding, right. That guy is freaking scary. But in a good way. ))
Well character creator should allow me to create a Female Qunari more beautiful than Bioware's creation lol. I will create a female Qunari that looks better than the one in that demo lol
He is beautiful. We just can't see it cause it's a different species!

I don't about that he seem to have a pretty face, it was kinda french looking
