I saw all represented videos, but  for one, very important for me question,  did not find an answer: can be played only in tactical mode (how it works in DA:O), without stupid 3d person action?

Yes; one may play in Tactical mode, and may do it wisely....

Going by the demo last year the answer is yes, you can. However you are correct in being a bit in doubt, as since then not one of their gameplay trailers have shown live tactical mode, it has always been immediately paused once it went into tactical and then immediately back into action mode once it unpaused. Even in the Twitch stream gameplay video from this E3, Mike said "live action or tactical", which one could take as live is not possible in tactical. I do still think you can though.

Mike confirmed the existence of "Engage mode."  He said it would be more akin to playing X-Com, enemy unknown.

Thank you for answers! I was worried, because in all videos, player only gives some commands for companions in tactical mode, and returns to direct-controlled action.

"Engage mode" - sounds weird, maybe I would have to be there and understand the context, I thought it would be standard live action just in a tactical view. Do you know if there is anywhere one can see it in in a video or read about it? Really unfortunate that Bioware never shows it
