To start here is the link to the youtube version of the twitch gameplay.

At 6:30 we go to Redcliffe castle, and if you notice the PC's xp bar, it would indicate that we are level 7 by this point in the game. To me this would seem to imply that Redcliffe may be part of the games introduction. Leliana in this scene is also wounded, possibly linking to her appearances in the e3 trailer. To me this seems to be the first time we meet Leliana (and rescue her from the Venatori).

What I am drawing from this (potentially incorrectly of course) is that we start for the first 3ish levels at the Temple of Sacred Ashes, then follow a short linear path (similar to Ostagar) ending with us at Redcliffe Castle. Perhaps that rift is the second rift we close (Sacred Ashes temple being the first), and after Redcliffe is when the game truly opens up.

This would make sense, as Redcliffe is a returning location and this a safe place to drop the Inquisitor at the beginning of the game, giving players a sense of familiarity (and a desire for Revenge since it looks like Redcliffe went to hell in a handbasket). I don't think we should draw too much information from the characters seen in the demo, as they may have been hand picked for the character, rather than because we have actually recruited them by this point. Dorian however seems to have an active part in dispelling the rift at the very end of the demo, based on his dialogue.

A separate discussion: the Venatori. From Quizzies dialogue it would appear the Tevinter faction is intentionally opening rifts, is it possible that a Tevinter Magister is the big bad (or more likely, a pawn of the true big bad)? The Tevinters may believe they have the least to lose from this fade breach as they may mistakenly believe they can control the fade.

Coripheus is proof that Tevinter Magisters have rotten luck when it comes to travelling into the Fade.

IIRC the breach at the temple is the main one. It's mentioned in trailers that the breach gets bigger with every tear and by the hour which implies that we'll be fixing the minor tears first to create stability before we even attempt to close the main one.

Ahh, then it totally makes sense to have Redcliffe be part of the linear opening. It is right next door to the Temple (comparatively) we'd want to repair a breach quick as possible, and there Redcliffe is!

If it is Dorian's recruitment questline as some people speculate, it better be early. The sooner he's in my party, the better. But it has been mentioned on Twitter by David that the level in the demo means nothing - that is just the level they constructed the demo build with.

David Gaider said to ignore the character levels. They have been heavily tweaked for the demo at E3. Or did you think you'd fight a dragon at level 7, while Mike Laidlaw, via voiceover of that very scene, is specifically saying "Dragons are designed as endgame content".

Naw, I just liked the low level cause it added to my 'Redcliffe is right next to Temple' argument that this would be part of the opening more linear plot. I like to think this because Dorian is awesome (probably my go-to mage on playthrough 1) and I want him quick, lol.

i find it suspicious as well, we already have the iron bull, sera, and dorian in the party at this point... this would mean that either everyone just joins at the beginning without any sort of recruitment or that we are in depth to the game...  it also looked liked a crisis point in the video, cause when the boss was killed, the cutscene showed leliana getting shot, and what i thought was sera's corpse getting dropped at the entrance of the extra troops and that demon

I doubt any Advisor can die at all. So I think it isn't so much a decision point as full of drama. As for the Sera dieing thing, I think it is just getting knocked unconscious, but there is no way to know for sure (unless any dev's wana set our minds at ease, which they don't. The meanies!). And for what companions you have with you, apart from Dorian none have any dialogue, hinting that maybe the companions were simply chosen because Bioware wanted to show case them, rather than because we actually would have access to them by this point. They did similar things with DAO gameplay segments, and some ME2 stuff as well.

I actually went back and took a look, and Alexius (the final boss) was level 10. So it seems Redcliffe might be a little bit higher level than an Ostagar equivalent, it might simply be the recommended first 'branch' we take.
