I just read Blackwall's profile on Dragon age Wikia and it state that he was strongly against Loghain criminalising the Grey Wardens. Now, with Loghain's possible fate of being made into a Grey Warden and stationed in Orlais, I would find it a most interesting scenario to see these two having a connection over the past. Maybe they worked with each other over the past ten years during Loghain's stay in Orlais.
It'd be cool to hear about him, but, I don't know I feel like Loghain won't be much of a mention - let alone an appearance.
Well, Simon Templeman(Loghain's VA) was reportedly doing some work with Bioware a couple months back, though it was never confirmed if he was doing work for DAI or another project they're working on. Still, it's distinctly possible he'll appear and he and Blackwall will have some words.
For what it's worth, Warden Loghain's epilogue mentions that he managed to achieve the respect of his fellow wardens through exemplary service. I'm often the first to mention that the epilogues are not hard canon(see Anders, Cullen, and Justice), but I would like to see that particular plot upheld. Maybe Blackwall and Loghain won't be fond of each other but have that begrudging respect, maybe they've actually grown to be friends. Who knows?

LOL. Given what we know about Blackwall (Selfless, believes in helping others) I can totally see him and Loghain drinking and getting along.

If you ask him his plans in Awakening, he tells you that the Maker must enjoy irony, because he's been transferred to Orlais. Wardens are soldiers. They go where they're sent.

And this is the part of the epilogue I denounce as not being hard canon;
That epilogue gives Bioware an excuse to exclude him if they can't fit him into the game for whatever reason. It is not an ironclad wall that prevents them from using him if they want to.

He didn't hate Loghain as far as we know. He made one comment about Loghain's decision to ban the wardens from Ferelden as being a foolish move(which it was).

No I mean it was Riordan's idea to spare Loghain. He didn't seem too upset about what Loghain had done...including having him tortured...

Where is it stated he hated Loghain? All I read is he did not agree with Loghains decision, that does not mean he hated Loghain.
