but still....its about mother freaking time....jeez i was starting to doubt there even was a female shep.
and of a much more important note: Bioware, seeing female shepard didnt destroy my perception of reality or force me into such a great state of confusion that i lost my sanity. it didnt completely skew my expectations of the game; i know she is shepard and not a squadmate, random npc, or main villian.
for your future marketing ideas.

nice. Still not nearly as detailed as male shep, but much better than the first. I think it's the hair that makes it look much better. It's a lot more realistic looking and not so 2D. I wonder why they couldn't get a Default female face and detail it off of some actress or model like they did Vanderloo...
I thought this was a custom FemShep...

I play as a male, but this seems to bode well for custom MaleSheps too.

Indeed I'm sure it is. But the default female face won't be any more detailed than this. Such was the case in ME1, and I doubt it has changed for ME2. I'm sure they could have taken some time to make at least the default female face to be as detailed as the male counterpart. I don't even play as a female really, but it would be nice to have the balance.

I agree, they could have simply double
campaigned

They just did maleShep because to them, that's the true shepard, they have options to customize shepard to your liking, but for canon-story purposes, they stick with showing only maleShep
