That's not entirely true.
There are default decisions - Wrex and the Council die, The person the same gender as you dies on Virmire.
Then you get questioned and that helps set your other choices (and maybe alter the default ones).
With 100+ decisions being imported, they can't just ask you them all.
Default does not equal canon. At most it just means they selected something so that indifferent players can skip through it.
And I haven't heard anything about the questioning being removed and won't believe it unless there's a link to back it up.

I never said default meant canon, I merely said what I said.

I apologize then, it just seemed like you were implying such.

i wonder what happens to the face when you get high paragon. Do the scars heal?
I hear there's an operation that removes them completely. I think I might keep'em, though.
Also, can we not turn this thread into another argument about what's canon and what's not? Far as I'm concerned, the canon is what the player decides it is. That's why it's a role-playing game, after all.

No, I was merely saying that there are a combination of methods they use in order to construct the story for a new Shepard, including default decisions and asking you and setting your response.
It has less to do with canon and more to do with what would make the most sense to someone new to the game.

New pics lend some insight into the matter.

Nice. Very nice.
Heh... Shepard looks a little paranoid in that first one, what with walking around in full body armor while everyone else is casual wear..
May I ask where you're digging these up?

You know, with the high collar on the casual wear outfit, the giraffe neck thing is a whole heck of a lot less noticeable. I am pleased, she looks very good.
Yes I was very happy to see that too.

Oh god... the more I see it the more lame this whole Terminator style alignment scars BS seems. There's a lot of stuff in this game that makes me dubious, and I'm willing to give BioWare the benefit of the doubt on pretty much all of it until I play it. But this stupid system... I'm still constantly flabbergasted that they actually decided to put it in. It is beyond friggin retarded... it really is. So much for subtlety these days.
They're removable even if you're renegade.
