So far all we have seen is a pause when tactical view is activated and about 2-3 seconds of the tactical view before switching back to the in to over the shoulder action combat.

We have not seen the dialogue wheel to see if they have fixed the paraphrasing having nothing to do with what you say something witch was also a main complaint about DA2.

They have not shown us the crafting or equipment system that they have for the game.

Bioware have done wonderfully on the environments and the open world they have looks like a great addition to the game, but until they get away from the action combat rule of cool and button awesome marketing and actually show the RPG systems of the RPG game then I will continue with the impression that this game is just going to be DA2.2 with better environments.

People can say to wait that we haven't seen it all yet and this is just to try to attract new players, but the same thing happened and were said before the release of DA2. If Bioware had some main complaints about the last game and they come out and said they have listened to the fans why are they not showing that they have improved all aspects of the game and to try to appeal to some of the fans they already have and show that the game is suitable for them as well.

This.

Saying 'you will have your tactical view' is not enough, showing just 2-3 seconds of it is definitely not enough.

Amazing graphics, huge areas and interesting characters are all good, but DA:I is a game and it's gameplay that I care the most.

And to be quite honest gameplay is still not very appealing to me.

It looks like tactical view has relatively more importance this time around but the way bioware is presenting it makes me really worried.

I love everything I heard about lore so far but gameplay..not really. We still have 4 months to go and I'm sure they still have plenty to offer, but I'll keep my expectations low, just in case.

I already pre-ordered the Inquisitor's Edition before E3. Now I want to marry the game.

Since it is not yet legal or possible to marry software, though, I will settle for marrying the entire dev team simultaneously. (I know that's not legal either, but how can the Canadian and Australian governments stand in the way of our love?!)

Will not pre-order or buy it (My feeling towards BW is still a bit negative). But I will say I'm excited about it. Will wait for my GF to buy it and bum off of her.

I think it'll be an okay game, but just something for me to pass the time til my awaited releases. I wish the demo would've focused more on a story/dialogue scenes, since the battles don't do much for me.

I'm excited. I definitely like what I've seen so far and I'll be pre-ordering for sure. I really liked DA2 and ME3 (flaws and all) so I have confidence in Bioware's ability to make another great game.

I think the offscreen footage has been better than the presented stuff, which baffles me.

I know, Bioware has the biggest game convention to show fans that might of been upset with the direction of DA2 and who don't follow the website or forums that they have listened and made a game that they might like. Yet they stick to the same marketing strategy from DA2 that put some fans off.

I, for one, am excited about everything I've seen so far... well... maybe not everything.

1)  I'm a little (read: little) concerned about having to friendzone someone because, while they might not by pixel-physically attractive, they may have the personality/morals of a salamander.

2)  That the combat is going isn't going to be like DA:2 (which I did like a lot) and I'm going to have to do the WASD-dodge or die, which I hated in most other games.

And, 3)  That as pretty as my machine is, and as much as I love my GeForce, they may not be strong enough to handle DA:I on anything but fuzzy low... which takes away from the immersion and will make me sad. ;)

Another cool game from Bioware! Will definitely buy it, no matter what!

I already pre-ordered the deluxe.

I enjoyed DA2, even if it wasn't quite the successor Origins deserved, so I appreciate the "best-of-both-worlds" combat system they've presented thus far.  Everything they've shown so far regarding the lore, companions and story has only enticed me further.  I'm actually a little sorry to see the more experimental story structure of DA2 not get a second try (Imagine what they could have done with DAI's long development cycle?) but I'm thrilled to see the expansive areas and beautifully organic environments.

In short, I have no misgivings about DAI at the moment, though I suppose that could change.  I don't think it's possible to get a decent idea of the writing quality (Unless of course the story marketing makes it clear that its terribly banal, but it hasn't been) until I have the game in my hands and can judge for myself.  I just don't trust reviewers on that extremely subjective front.

Combat and the whole be careful and manage resource thing has me a bit concerned - that's not what I play BW Rpgs for.

Looks gorgeous though, and companions sound interesting (a little disappointed that bro-quiz won't be getting with Sera, though).

The timed exclusive, to quote the relevant thread title, makes me sad.

I'm still reserving my overall judgment for when we actually hear something about MP and whether it (whatever form it may take) in any way impacts the SP experience.

A part of me is SO excited about this (I've already preorder the Inquisitor's Edition) but the other part of me is just like 'No! I've been hurt before! This is WAY too ambitious! Remember DA2 and ME3!?' so I'm so just

They wont even give us information about the RPG systems of an RPG game, I doubt we will get any information about multiplayer until about 1 day before release.

Don't open the game right away and you should be fine either way.

It's a big selling point especially to an online audience so I don't think there will be any if they didn't say at E3.

I hope some of the weird stuff will still get tweaked. Like f.e. the jump feature -- The dwarven Inquisitor jump @ around 5:00 (the jumping off the hill) in the 18min demo screener to be specific. Seems like far too high a jump to make with armor on (not even considering the fact that it's a dwarf).

Other than stuff like that, the game looks very promising.

Think it will be ready in 12 weeks?

Companions seem good.

World exploration seems good.

Choice of spells and abilities seems interesting.

My only concern that I've seen in two of the videos was combat, there was a noticeable screen shudder of a companion at points in dragon battles.  Also, the inqisitor was moved around a few times to attack a target as if it was difficult to lock on to a target, something I had problems with in DA2.  (My character being told to attack an opponent and then happily running past it.)

Overall looks good
