great, there goes my plans for my first playthrough.... she was the only female npc i was actually interested in, Cass is kinda meh and Vivienne is just plain unattractive (in my eyes, both physically and in just about every other way).  Goddammit Bioware!

It's because Cassandra was pretty much unmoved by Varric's chest hair, and that takes at least 10 on "prefers the ladies" scale.

 

Considering that all of the girls in my life have preferred clean shaven men with no chest hair (like me), I find this an amusingly silly argument. Besides, this is CASSANDRA we are talking about. She doesn't seem the type to swoon, especially not so easily.

The magic Power of Varric's Chest Hair is sort of injoke developed by Varric fans. It's not really meant to be taken seriously and the "amusingly silly" is very much the point :3

This doesn't make me unhappy because I had mainly considered romancing her with a female Inquisitor anyway and I'm really glad I would get the chance. The only minor thing that I wonder about is if the hair kind of makes her seem more of a stereotype now.

I'm straight male and I have no problem with her being gay Though this, along with AWR confirmed female inquisitor's voice earlier, I'm pretty sure Femquisitor will be my first play through

I'm kind of conflicted right now. On one hand I'm glad I can romance Sera as femquisitor on the other this increases Viv's chances of being staight.
