Just thought it was unlikely that BW would block a full companion from being romanced by male inquisitor's & certain male gamers that would refuse to play as a female, expected her as bisexual tbh
Wait. what exactly are they doing with the gay male to straight female pcs then? or straight companions of either gender to the gay pcs? It seems perfectly fair to me. one companion gets blocked out for one gender/preference and another is opened up(no pun intended)

The impression I've gotten is she is a power-focused manipulator that really only cares about herself. Which is... just what it is I guess, to each their own. Hard to get close to someone like that because, again, they really only care about themselves.
She is hot though.

Well it's either her or Varric. If I had to decide between the two, the only dealbreaker would be if I wanted to romance her. But since she's gay I won't be romancing her, so yeah she stays behind and Varric comes instead. It's not as sinister of a reason as you may think.

Then again, she might be more fun that Varric this time around. I get the very strong impression that Varric's getting a little tired after all he's been through.

I would only feel that way if a gay character I brought along was way too forward with his attraction towards me. Then I'd want to leave him behind. It'd be the same thing if you're a female player, and one of the male npcs was a horndog that constantly hit on you. Thankfully I haven't felt this way towards any of the gay characters in the series, although Zev from DA:O came close.
