to be fair i don't know who the hell you are, so implying that you do anything would be naive. i wasn't specifically citing you as a source for this kind of behavior, but it does happen on these boards.

Sure, my main Inquisitor is going to be male and romance Cassandra (or Vivienne), but I'm definitely going to roll a Femquisitor at some point.

I can't, when i play i tend to roleplay and get immersed in the game as much as possible... unfortunately i can't rp a female character, it's just not in me.

For me it is the other way around. I already play a straight human male 24/7 IRL, so in games I rarely do so.

IMO with games like this with reactive content you'd be doing yourself a disservice not trying out both genders, but that's just me.

I don't feel I'm missing out on anything by playing strictly female. That's how I want to play. You can't miss out on something you're not interested in. That's me a'course.

  I love Sera already. and I'm not that interested in Cass or Viv as LIs for my male Inquisitors. Female Quizzies maybe, males less so, but I haven't run a gay PC outside of femShepard (who turned kinda xeno-bi). I was going to run M: F 4:2, so this just throws my plans all out of whack.. lol I'm definitely gonna run a lesbian one now for a PT.

 

I hope Scribbles is the straight fem LI. If Cass and Viv are the only options, I'm gonna have some lonely Inquisitors, or switch to mostly female, I guess.

Contrary to what some popular books try to sell you, women aren't some magical creatures from another planet with cognitive processes completely unlike these of men. Roleplay what you think would make interesting person without focusing on her gender, and you can be pretty sure in the 3.5+ billion women worldwide out there, there's at least one like that.

Yes. This needs to be in the game, like right now. Sera and Varric's dialogue needs to solely revolve around her trying to hit on Bianca and Varric having none of that.

Shes the new Morrigan. someone has to be the big B of the group. Though it seems like she'll be more elitist and snobby than morrigan, which shall be lots of fun. If shes like Emma Frost of the x-men then Viv will definitely be my LI. lol

 

Morrigan was awesome. Viv seems really counter to her in a lot of ways, she'll be interesting.

Maybe you're not "missing out" personally, but you're absolutely missing some things. There is at least some flavor dialog you will never see choosing exclusively one side over the other. Personally I want to see as much divergent content as I can.

If I'm *really* curious, I'll head over to Youtube. That's the cool thing about these games though, they accommodate many play styles.
