Too soon to say. They all peak my interest since they're all fresh characters and I haven't got to know them yet. (Except Varric of course but he was one of the few I liked in DA2) But if I had to choose right now; Solas and Cassandra peak my interests the least. I'll add Cole to that list once it's confirmed as him.

I'll be surprised if Vivienne doesn't irritate me from start to finish.

It really is too soon to say that I dislike any of them. I may not be pleased with how someone looks or annoyed at the presumption of their personality, but until I actually play the game--who knows. I remember thinking that I was going to dislike Aveline, but ended up loving her.

 

If I had to choose now, though, I would pick "Cole". If it is Cole. Jesus, how I hated that guy in the book.

Only companion I don't like so far is Sera. Her voice in the demo video really grated my ears and her bio on the site makes her sound a bit too chaotic for me.

Yeah... Have to say him shanking the Mage girl in the first 20 pages didn't really get me on his side...

Her killing her family and liking it, didn't really make me feel pity for the girl.  He didn't kill little innocent girls/boys...he killed murderers.

I really don't understand all the hate towards Cole tbh. He's a demon/spirit but he didn't realize it til the end. But to each their own..

There was no indication that every person he kill was a murderer. Anyway, that isn't why I disliked him. It is as simple as he got on ever-loving nerves. Which is the only reason I need.

So yeah if you could shoot one of the companions shown so far who would it be and why? Of course we don't have a whole lot to go on right now but which companion shown so far do you like the least?

 

To be honest, I couldn't say.  I have way too much experience with the fact that initial impressions can be wildly misleading to start pre-hating anyone.  That and developing a ton of preconceived ideas just makes it harder to actually pay attention to what the characters say.

I don't really like Vivienne, so far. She just seems far too self-centered. But, I don't want to kill her for it. I'll just leave her at the base camp.

It cannot say for 100% who I dislike; however, you asked who the "least favorite" is thus far....hmmm

 

I loved Varric in DA2, so its not surprising that he is my favorite going in.

At this moment I my least favorite is....Iron Bull...why?

Not sure but when I think of my "party" for my future playthroughs i just don't see him fitting in, at least not yet. When the game comes that may change.

I'm not exactly sold on anyone yet. So far everything seems to bug me. Or at least anyone with screen time besides Dorian (only had like 2 lines) and Varric (don't love him, but don't hate him).

Vivienne - have a feeling I'll be sick of her by the time I recruit her just from all the promo materials

Bull - Seems alright, but the new Qunari design is off somewhere for me

Blackwall - there's potential if he's like Riordan, but hope he isn't Captain Generic

 

I'm undecided on Cole - read the book and thought he was a chode. Curious to see how he is in an interactive setting. Know nothing of Solas but I don't really like what I've seen for his fashion sense.

 

Seems it might be DA2 all over again for me where I liked 2 characters (Merrill, Sebastian, well and Bethany) and was cool with 2 (Varric, Isabela) but could've done without anyone else and been happy.

Given that the Iron Bull seems to be in a bit of identity crisis, and torn between going fully native or embracing his roots, you might have an option to steer him in either direction. Not that it means you have to like the character of course.

 

If you have the option to influence IB, I'm totally going to push him towards becoming an outright Tal Vashoth.

Oh, he'll definitely get a nudge or two hundred from me but from his character profile I didn't get that he was torn between his roots and his present life. Only that he's enjoying overindulging for the present before heading back home when the mission is over. And he also doesn't take kindly to slights to the Qunari, which I hope I'll have plenty to give in my first couple of runs of the game.

 

 Granted that I'm not very good at reading between the lines, and I haven't exactly met him yet, so we'll see. Otherwise I'll have to fall back on Varric being my least favourite, if he's still his old DA2 self, charming but un-opinionated.

 

But this, I can't get over...

I'm surprised by all the "Cole" hate considering we don't know if it is Cole and we've only seen him in a couple of screenshots.

I like the look of Viv but I fear she may not like my collection of smarmy/sarcastic inquisitors....
