if I didn't like any of the protagonist voices, could i turn it off somehow? or i would be forced to play the game wincing everytime she/he speak?

i'm only asking. it happened to me in swtor, i really enjoyed playing the chars i'd rolled, the voices fitted classes, i'm sure. but in one, specific instance i could only grind my teeth... tho i enjoyed the story and class very much.

Troy Baker voices everyone.

Oh my goddess, don't say such things, I'd never get anything done and could see it taking at least a year to complete my first playthrough!

That marine is named Lee Riley, indeed voiced by Vanessa Marshall :)

So what about Jo Wyatt, did she get any voice acting duties for DA:I that anyone knows? I just love her voice for FemHawke and the female Imperial Agent in SW:TOR!

I think with her being femHawke and having such a distinctive voice would make feel it a bit weird.

Maybe Jo Wyatt could voice someone with an American accent (she uses it in SWTOR sometimes when her character goes undercover), making her voice less Hawke-like.

The distinctive voice thing didn't stop BW from casting AWR as the english female inquisitor despite her being in both previous DA games & being Traynor in ME3 even though she has no vocal range & always sounds exactly the same everytime ive heard her speak.

Cauthrien didn't exactly have a major role though, or Mhari, it would be easy to forget.  As people seem to have done lol.  That's how I see it anyway.

Maybe, will likely still be jarring at 1st for people who played ME3 though with their inquisitor having Traynor's voice

Considering Mhairi is dead and Ser Cauthrien most likely is as well (considering there is 2 scenes where you can fight her), those characters are irrelevant and to a degree wouldn't be classed on the 'distinctive' perspective.

As for her voicing someone in ME3 that is irrelevant. It is a different game set in a different verse.

I don't know if this has been mentioned before, but oh sweet Jesus Alix Wilton Regan speaks French. Be still my beating heart, haha.

A couple people in Dorian's thread were thinking Naveen Andrews for Dorian. Which...yum.

But I don't know that's based on anything except someone somewhere saying Dorian's VA was British Eastern Indian. Or something.

We need this guy to do male inquisitor voice acting: http://www.imdb.com/...?ref_=tt_cl_t11

Did male Sith warrior on swtor, the Dark Wolf on awakening and some random NPCs on DA:O and DA:2 he is total badass.

I still put my faith in that Timothy Watson is the British voice for the male Inquisitor. American voice probably won't be known until later or upon release.

Also for the male Inquisitors American voice. I vote for Jon St. Jon.

Given what I heard of from Sera in one of the demos, she sounds a lot like her.

Troy Baker will voice at least 1 character in this game. There is absolutely no doubt about it.

As someone who's recently returned to swtor and have been leveling characters again, which VO is it I'm curious? My newest character I'm finally experiencing Grey Delisles VO as a merc, she's awesome and the class itself is way more fun than I thought it would be. My original male powertechs VO is annoying at times, but I changed his body type to 4 and now he's quite humorous.

I am so pumped about Alix Regan. She's quite talented. In addition, my name is also Alex, so it must be fate, ill name my femquisitor Alyx or some suitable fantasy derivative of Alex. I usually play the male first in bioware games but I might make an exception this time.

I don't know why, but the male inquisitor in the latest trailer, to me, sounds like Richard Madden who played Robb Stark in Game of Thrones.
