We're generally more into cookies than lynchings helps to keep the population up!

 

I can honestly say I'm happy with all possible options. I do have broad tastes in general, but it's even more so that the personalities of our companions and advisers are all really intriguing I don't think anyone is really going to be shortchanged overall, even if their available options seem less to their taste than some others.

Yea, I also think it would be best to wait until the game is out before judging the characters. We have only but descriptions and not have actually interacted with the characters themselves yet so it is best to get to know them first before developing a solid opinion because you never know if that particular character will surprise you. Just my opinion though.

Cole too if he wasn't mentally a kid and if when he didn't have his hat on he didn't have terrible helmet hair. His hair, pretty flat.

Honestly we all know beauty is in the eye of the beholder and every human has thier indivisual preference/standard and definition of beauty.

 

All the characters are good looking or not ugly at all. My tops for me is

 

-Vivienne-Nuff said

 

-Sera[Her adverge yet slice of beauty is unquie and hot to me]

 

-Scribbles[ her flawful skin is a huge turn on,rare to see in fictional worlds often]

 

 

Varric is good looking and all that jazz.

 

Only person I would is a no go is Cole, serously that dude is ****** creepy looking

Anybody else noticed that Mass Effect's sexism is making a great return here?

 

Bioware advertises romance like it's one of the main features of their games.

 

Yet, let us compare the gorgeous ladies:

This game is pulling a Bound By Flame on us, by making hot female characters and ugly male characters.

 

Vivienne looks like a Qunari made out with a frog and Cassandra IMO looks like a lesbian.

 

So where the gorgeous is again....

 

Ironically the best looking party members for both sexes are completely homosexual.  The Zorro look alike Dorian and Sara, whatever Bioware did this on purpose just to raise controversy is another question entirely.

I would say the best looking person in the game is Cullen, by far.

 

I would put Sera, Vivienne, Josephine, and Dorian at about the same level. Varric would be here too if he weren't half my height. 

 

Then Solas and Cassandra.

 

Then Iron Bull and Blackwall.

I think Viviene looks pretty but not that amazing, she's just like a French model of African descent you'd see in fashion shows.

Cassandra is average, if she's real i'd probably gave her 7.5/10 (some might even gave worse score)

Josephine? Although  pretty, her expression somewhat putting me down. Not to mention she's having that goth-like eyeliner. And some might argue (not me) that her pores and mole really makes her look ugly

And Sera, despite her pointy ears, she's pretty much the pretty-yet-average girl you'd passed by in your day to day life (assuming you live in mostly caucasian populated country).

 

Btw, Dorian just looks like my uncle (at least younger,thinner and a tad longer nose version of him with a moustache). So, it might (kinda) disgust me to romance him but not to have him around as bros that lookout for each other.

7.5 is average? And I've yet to see any mention of Josephine's 'moles and pores' until you bought it up. The uncle thing I get but then I've yet to meet a character that resembled anyone I know for it to be of influence.

I always thought a 5 was supposed to be average.  <shrug>

 

I can get the uncle thing.  It's the same reason why that I never found Aveline attractive, LI or not: She looks too much like my sister-in-law, whom I've known since high school.  Also, I could never romance Jacob in ME2 either.  See, while the ME character looks nothing like my family, he does share the same name as my youngest brother.  I couldn't handle Shep's breathy way of talking to him.  It was too odd to hear the name Jacob coming from my character in a sexy way with just the neutral conversations, so I couldn't picture trying the romance.

For the females - Viv and Sera aren't that great looking to me , but not hideous like I've read. but Cassandra and Josephine are gorgeous.

 

For the males I'll base it simply on how cool / interesting they look , not on attractiveness since well I'm not into guys lol . Dorian , that damn mustache is heroic , Solas look pretty cool , Blackwall has a fantastic beard , Cullen i'm not a big fan of but based on looks , looks good.. Iron bull is simply one badass qunari and his looks match. Varric as usual is his good ol usual self.

 

So all in all , the characters look good ,So I don't get how I've read quite often about how only 1 or 2 look decent , or they all are bad looking.

In what world the models are merely 'pretty, not that amazing'? Given that's one profession where they get picked mainly for the looks?

I thought it was "elbows too pointy"? Also, how are pores a bad thing? I mean, it's literally impossible to be a human being and not have those.

I think all the female characters suffer from unflattering/bad pictures/trailers like Isabela and Morrigan did in the past. In the official character pages, the background pictures look way better than the avatar ones.

 

I don't like Cassandra in most pictures. She is vastly different than what DA2 made me think she would be. But in this one I think she looks great. And since it has a "candid" quality to it I think she will look good in game.

For males I think Cullen and Dorian look very good. Iron Bull I'm not sure. He looks better in the trailers/pictures but I didn't really like him in the demo.

 

And I like Solas. I don't think he is very handsome, but he has a very attractive quality. I think the same of Vivienne (and if she is romanceable she will be the obvious one for me).
