I didn't even know you could do that :'D

Origins had 4 difficulties, and friendly fire was going - None / 50% / 100% / 100%

DA2 also had 4 difficulties, but friendly fire was only on Nightmare mode (unless you played with mod).

In Inquisition, I think someone mentioned it being a on/off switch, or maybe they are going back to Origins model

The desire to wander off that path and explore all the corners while talking to all the people is so great. I am going to pour so many hours into this.

Sera's voice was unexpected. I think I may end up liking her more than I thought.
Iron Bull is sounding good though. I'm thinking he'll be my warrior of choice in my first game.

I know, that's what Origins, DA2 and pretty much every other Bioware game since Baldur's Gate 2 has been missing. The ability to take things more or less at your own pace. (A case could be argued for Mass Effect though)

It's part of why I love games like The Elder Scrolls and Red Dead Redemption. There are moments you can tell that narrative to ****** off for an hour or two while you gather flowers or explore some cool cave you just found. That kind of self determination brings me (And I hope a lot of other people) even closer to the game world.

Sera's voice was exactly what I was expecting, one of the cruder british accents.

Iron Bull on the other hand, his voice is a bit different from what I was expecting, but I think I like it even better this way.

I heard Goldanna. Also, can anyone recognise those voice actors for Iron Bull and Sera?

The Iron Bull sounds like Caradin from Anvil of the Void in DAO.

A Templars vs mages situation with enemy mages.

I'm sorry, I need a moment.

It kills me that they didn't upload the second part.

I know, I just woke up and am trying to find some more, will update the OP if I can find anything in the deep dark roads... er, corners of the web. :D

Also where those mages working with the Red Templars (or regular Templars?) or fighting them?

Apparently the mages are called Spellbinders. They seem to be the previously shown enemies who use those fast-flipping books.

It's possible they aren't actual mages, but rather a unit who bind the spells of actual mages in their books so that they can unleash the magic themselves at a later time. That's 100% speculation, of course.

Man I'm so hyped up for this game. I don't like the UI per se, but I don't find it to detract from the game. It definitely looks professional and clean, which is nice compared to the older, more guady UIs. I also like the simplicity of the pause/overmenu. Here's hoping we see this full footage soon, and also here's hoping we see a "demo" character creator pre-launch.

It seemed like the Mages were fighting with the Templars and then the Inquisitor just stepped in and killed them all. Apparently our job is to solve the conflict in the area I assume we will be able to take sides in the mage v Templar conflict if we wish.

It looks like we have confirmation that not all the Templars who rebelled have become Red Templars coz those Templars didn't look red to me.

I hope the telescope  thing does not break the immersion. I don't want the area just to be a giant puzzle/theme park. Oh yeah and  .. was it on normal difficulty ? That look retardly easy . Please crank up the difficulty a bit.

Oh and that wall of fire. i wonder why they never had a combo like with wind ? Like you're creating a wind wave and the fire grow and goes toward the direction of where you blow it .. man that would be so epic.

@Suprez The demo was set to the "demo" difficulty. The PC and party were overpowered so that the devs could get through and show everything in a reasonable amount of time.

They talked about having to do this after they showed the PAX demo a while back.

Call me Elli.  ^_^

From what other people have transcribed else where, it seems I got most of it right. There are some others who've managed to hear more, but I'm hesitant to take what they heard as fact because it's just impossible to make out. (that beautiful music gets in the way)

A nice video showing off what certainly looks to be a great RPG.

I am starting to become more and more curious about the functionality of the tactical camera view though, not once have Bioware shown that you can traverse the world out of combat in tactical view like you could in DA:O, it's always in 3rd person. And in combat the only time tactical view is ever used is when the game is paused, in fact going by the demo it looks like the only way to pause is to go to tactical view and then when you unpause it automatically reverts to 3rd person. I hope Bioware shows some pure tactical view traveling and live combat just to ease the minds of those of us, who are looking forward to that option.
