More mega evolutions! Varying enemy teams depending on version! (Presumably.) The updated visuals!

I remember playing the third gen. I didn't enjoy it as much as gold and silver but it was certainly fun and it had the most diverse environments. It also has my favorite legendary Kyogre.

I still have the original Groudon and Kyogre on my 3ds I was exited at first but IDK,

They said it would be a new world but it's just an update from the old one

i didn't like how they revealed it, i mean they show us wii u game trailers than here comes a pokemon one:

---- HYPE!!! finally pokemeon on wii-u??, but NO it's on 3 ds ( i don't play on small screen) so i couldn't care less (no offence to 3 ds players),  

then back on showing wii u trailer.... i think this trailer should have been shown on the side as a 3 ds trailer from the start

so in short :

   HYPE then COLD SHOWER,

still good news for the fans but really looking forward a wii u one

Yeah, they did say somewhere shortly after the first teaser that it was just a remake, but if you were going solely off that trailer, it was incredibly misleading.

I knew immediately it was the 3DS one, because of exactly what Liam said. I feel like they'll just never get around to it.

Well they are finally making a open world Zelda so if that does well it could pave the way for a full on open world console pokemon.

Nah Liamv2. It's not that Nintendo hates money it's just that a 3d open world pokemon game would singlehandedly destroy the economic productivity of nearly all the world's societies.

Nintendo actually cares about us...

I remember hating the third gen when it first came out and immediately going back to playing my crystal version. Though strangely enough I played the hell out of the Emerald version when that was released.

Really hoping for a Flygon Mega, but I completely understand if it doesn't happen.

 

But I just really love the design, and it could really benefit from it stat wise.

Sableye could have used a regular evolution. That's the only thing about Mega Evolution that I dislike in that it's being given to some pokemon I feel should have been given regular evolutions. Mawile comes to mind immediately.

They gave Sableye a Mega for balance.

Blaziken is undoubtedly one of the ugliest Pokemon ever. When I saw what Combusken evolved into, I was like "Nuhp!" The mega version is at least tolerable. Mawille is another disgusting Pokemon, and the mega version is better, but less so than the Blaziken one.

 

As if they couldn't make Swampert any more ugly, they come up with this.

 

 

Gen III is clearly the worst of all of them, and I'm glad I never played it. I completely skipped Gen III and Gen IV.

 

Gen I > Gen II > Gen VI > Gen V > Gen IV > Gen III.

 

Gen III remakes? I never asked for this!
