Hey Guys, sorry if my question has already been answered, but is the physical deluxe edition available for PC? I know I can purchase it from Origin, but Amazon doesn't seem to list the PC version.

It would be quite unfair, If the deluxe edition were to be limited to Origin and consoles.

It exists but apparently (though not officially confirmed): The PC Deluxe Edition is (if it's still available) exclusively available to the US market. I guess we're out of luck otherwise.

Physical Deluxe edition is only available in the States. We Europeans are somehow not important enough.

The question is: Why is the digital version of the standard edition in the Origin shop 5 € more expensive, than the boxed version at amazon? I could bet the amazon price will be even much more cheaper at release.
If the standard version in the Origin shop is overpriced, I guess, the digital deluxe version is also overpriced. Without a cheaper boxed version at amazon, a good way to milk more money from the people.

I've always wondered why digital editions of new releases are often priced the same or even more than their physical counterparts. One would think a boxed copy would cost more because of packaging, store display and logistics...
So what's the reason why this is happening (not just Origin but Steam just as much), why are digital editions artificially priced higher than they should?
Don't get me wrong: I'm aware of sites like greenmangaming so I know there is a way to obtain Origin keys for less than the official price.

I dont know, it was the same with e books costing more then physical books, guess they figure people will pay more for convenience. which seems to be the case.

I have it pre-ordered from Gamestop with in-store pickup. Since I can't pick up a digital download it must be physical dvds. ![]()

More $$$, some of which goes into maintaining server space and large enough bandwidth for downloads, but probably just more $$$.
