While tension is interesting and all, I hope there's a combination of companions you can bring along if you're in the mood for four way bromance.
Cassandra, Iron Bull and Vivienne all get along. The question at this point is, do you get along with them.
Hm. It'll be interesting to see if Cass/Cole and/or Cass/Dorian don't get along well.
I doubt Varric (fun-loving and neutral) will have issues with Vivienne (hard-ass) and Iron Bull (qunari who kills for stupid reasons)
Cullen will probably have trouble with Solas (apostate so lack of oversight), Sera (unapologetic thief)
Leliana will probably dislike Vivienne (real ******) and Iron Bull (qunari and very vicious)
Blackwall will probably dislike Sera (she's into her own pleasure, he's big on duty)
Why would IB being a qunari make her dislike him? She got along with Sten well enough and he was a hardcore Qun believer.

Sarcastic Hawke/Varric/Isabela was so close, but then there was always a third...uh, fourth wheel.
Later in the game Aveline wasn't a bad pick. She's started calling Varric out on his shenanigans, which turned into much more friendly banter, and she and Isabella has on odd couple style friendship to make sitcom writers green with envy. There's always Merrill as well, though it was more 3 way bromance and tag along little sister.
As for this game... we've got IB and Sera, or Varric and Sera, but it sounds like we won't be able to make it IB,Sera, and Varric for maximum bromance...

That's just me.
Because from what I've read, Leliana takes more of an issue with mages thanks to torture by the Venatori.
Even without it, though, Vivienne is a real ******, like Morrigan.
I don't recall Leliana getting along well with Sten aside from teasing him about playing with kittens and flowers. IB does not seem like the kittens and flowers type. Aside from that, Leliana didn't care for his philosophy.
As far as some others:
Cullen will probably get along with Vivienne
Dorian will not get along with Vivienne as she is very extravagant, like the Magisters (even without blood magic)
if my thoughts on Scribbles being a Lucrosian is correct, she'll get along well with Solas.
Cole will probably not get along with Cassandra (who would think him a mass murderer), Cullen (ditto), Varric (ditto, plus opinion of spirits colored by interaction with Justice/Vengeance). He will, however, get along with Solas
