Ok, I know we don't know everything about the companions yet, not even who they all are at this point, but we did find out a lot of cool info at E3 which might have effected who you would romance in the game.

I have changed my mind from no one, to Sera. She seems really cool and the fact that she was in the Friends of Red Jenny before this makes me very interested in her. Glad she's for female romancing.

Obviously Cassandra is a male only romance, and I don't play as a male so nix that one.

Vivienne might swing both ways. She is Orlesian afterall, but unless some serious changes in her personality happen in the game she isn't to my taste personality wise. I don't think shes all that pretty either honestly. She looks weird.

Iron Bull. I doubt he will be romacable to any but the female Qunari inquisitor. I will be shocked if he is and more likely to try and romance him with my female Elf inquisitor if he is.

Varric. Doubt he's a romance option(DA2), but hoping he is.

Dorian?

Solas-From looks alone not my type. So no romance for Solas.

Leliana-She is lovely, and I romanced her in one of my playthroughs in DA:O, but I don't think I will have her as the LI of my Warden so she will be free. I still don't know if I will romance her though. It depends on the changes in her personality over the last two games.

Iron Bull profile said that he enjoyed with anyone who wouldn't break or something.

She's not available.

I don't think that's obvious at all. She could be straight, but she could also be bisexual. Not enough info to know either way. (I think we can certainly rule out her being a lesbian, though.)

Given his new bio, I hope we can at least jump into bed with him. (Even if that's likely to result in a broken bed ...)

Varric. Doubt he's a romance option(DA2), but hoping he is.

I feel the same on both counts.

Cassandra could still be bi. Vivienne might be asexual.

I actually think Cassandra will be male only romance as well. Only because they announced her as a romance option along side Cullen. Giving me the impression that Cullen is female only and Cassanddra is male only. But who knows.

I've seen nothing to suggest Cassandra might be male only, so until then, she strikes me as bisexual until otherwise stated.

Leliana isn't romancable and I'm happy for that because quite frankly, I'd be insulted if she was, I had quite a few warden with her thank you very much.

I STILL don't know why people insist on stating romance restrictions (beyond sexuality) though.

It's never been implemented before and the devs have stated NOTHING to even suggest otherwise, why do people have it in their heads Cullen isn't romancable by mages and Iron Bull (provided he is romancable) by anything other then a qunari?

Laidlaw mentioned "flavors" of romance. The wording suggests that sexuality is not the only type of romance restriction.

Leliana was confirmed then as not romanceable? Link?

I'm still betting that both Cassandra and Vivienne are bi while Scrribles is male only.

A lot of people haven't seen all the info and thus have to make their own deductions until otherwise informed. That's the purpose of the forums I believe. I have now been informed of the information that I was unaware of.

Thank you.

This is supposed to be a friendly forum for the acquiring of knowledge and sharing opinions. That is all. If Cassandra isn't limited to men then that is awesome, if Iron Bull is not limited to Qunari that is even more awesome in my opinion. Still don't think, but hope, that Varric is a LI. I am also very disappointed that Leliana is not an option, but I guess I understand.

I don't know either! If you could romance FENRIS!!! with a mage I don't see why you couldn't romance Cullen (who was in love with a mage once already).

Also if Iron Bull sleeps around he'd have to do it with other races. I doubt he meets many Qunari women.

They really didn't think Leliana as a possible LI through very well.  Because of the Keep, you'll be able to determine whether she's with the Warden or not, so if she is, then naturally she wouldn't be available, but if she isn't, there's no reason why she couldn't be an LI.  If the Keep didn't exist then I'd agree she shouldn't be an LI because you might've romanced her and they'd have no way of knowing, but because the Keep can determine whether you did or didn't, there's no reason why she can't be an LI for any playthrough that involves an unromanced Leliana from DAO.  She certainly would've been a great one, it's a real missed opportunity to put the Keep to very good use.

I agree with you about the Fenris-Cullen connection in terms of romance, but what I mean about Iron Bull is a relationship. More than sex or romance. Can we have a relationship with Iron Bull? Or is it just a romp in the extremely sturdy hay?

That doesn't necessarily mean that romancing Iron Bull as a non qunari is a no go though, it could mean you just have to work harder to get him to agree to it or something.

It could also imply types of romances, a popular theory I've seen going around is that Iron Bull will be just a fling while Cullen will all but propose marriage.

He might meet some qunari dudes, though. (We don't have absolute confirmation that he's bi, but the interview is suggestive of that.)

That interview TOTALLY hinted he may be bi.

And that makes me so happy.

I don't care about either Iron Bull or Cullen. I'm straight.  ^_^

I have this notion that Cassandra is bisexual and only attracted to mages (though she had to hide this fact for her job). Meanwhile, Vivienne could be bisexual but not attracted to other mages.
