How do you figure? there will be probably 3 for  Straight MQuisitors - Cassandra , Scribbles and Viv. 3 for Gay Mquisitors - Solas & Dorian(one will be straight the other gay) and IB. Seems pretty fair and even to me.

Hehe... I'm talking elf for elf... dwarf for dwarf.

Oh well yes , Sera is only for the ladies and Solas has a chance to only be for the men. and Varric is very iffy due to his love of Bianca.

Look, I have been a diehard fan of dwarves since I read the Hobbit as a wee child over 30 years ago.

Trust me.

No one wants Sigrun I mean, any dwarven female to be a romance option more than me. But... Bioware makes good games and good stories. The romance is just a side-quest, really. Don't get too worried about it.

I dont know why people seem to forget that scene in DA2 where Varric calls Cassandra on her gushing over Fem Hawke slaying the Arishok. On the male side, Cass is impressed but just glosses over it, its only with Female Hawke, Cass gets all dreamy and Varric Comments on this.

This is not the actions of a Straight female.

If B-Ware has added Race Restrictions to the Romances than Male Qunari and Dwarf Inquisitors are gonna be screwed especially because of the fear of clipping and such B-Ware will need to add a option for straight male Qunari/Dwarf Players.

Female Qunari/Dwarf Players will most likely have Iron Bull and Varric which is awesome but there are no female Qunari/Dwarf options "Unless B-Ware has a female Qunari/Dwarf NPC/Agent Li option under wrap we just don't know about yet".

Potental Options:

Dwarf:

1.Sigrun

2.Dagna

Qunari:

1.?????? "This one might be tough because there are not alot of Female Qunari that could fit in the game"

I trust B-Ware will pull it off in the end but I am a little concerned.

Just watched both versions and I will say that's wrong. she isn't gushing over fem hawke , as varric says its *Hero Envy* , now Male Hawke its * a little crush*.

I've seen nothing to suggest Cassandra might be male only, so until then, she strikes me as bisexual until otherwise stated.

Leliana isn't romancable and I'm happy for that because quite frankly, I'd be insulted if she was, I had quite a few warden with her thank you very much.

I STILL don't know why people insist on stating romance restrictions (beyond sexuality) though.

It's never been implemented before and the devs have stated NOTHING to even suggest otherwise, why do people have it in their heads Cullen isn't romancable by mages and Iron Bull (provided he is romancable) by anything other then a qunari?

thats short sighted on your part  Leliana needs  to find love agin the warden  is with his baby mama

Her reaction is the same regardless of Hawke's gender. It's Varric who interpret it differently.

Cassandra haven't given in indication of her sexual attraction, it wouldn't be proper to do so.

If we go buy Varric's reaction to her. then no there is no sort of *gushing* on fem hawke. Also there's the guy in Dawn of the Seeker she had kinda a thing with from what I've read (haven't seen the movie actually). so she likes guys at the very least.

I was about to bring this up. Assuming Bioware considers that animated short to be canon then Cass has shown attraction to men in the past, which means the most they could make her is bi, but I doubt it.

That wasn't attraction, it was a platonic kiss on the cheek, accompanied by the words "You've been a good friend." Hardly a confession of undying passion.

I'm not saying that Cass can't be straight, but we can't rule out any possible orientation based on that.

Just saying, at this point I'm taking any clue as an indication she's straight.

I understand looking for clues to support a hope, but a lot of other people are hoping that she's interested in women.  It's unlikely that two of the characters would be lesbians, but I'd hate to rob her fans of the hope that she could be bi.

I would love for her to be bi because as a FemQuisitor I think she would be fun to romance but my gut says she's straight.

Why?

I agree that assuming she's straight is a bit of oversight especially since Bioware is kind of going out of their way to keep her orientation secret, but in terms of the formula it does make sense. They have not announced any women to my knowledge that are male oriented only, Sera likes only ladies and Im going to assume Vivienne is Bi. So by that estimation it would make sense that Cassandra would be straight. I personally hope she is bi.

Dorian gives off very heavy male only vibes but I wouldn't be opposed to his lips against me female inquisitors <3

Cassandra says the exact same thing in the exact same tone regardless of Hawke's gender. if she was *gushing* over male Hawke, then she was *gushing* over female Hawke too.  Varric interpreting it differently means nothing about Cassandra, it only means something about Varric.

As for Dawn of the Seeker, Galyan is totally into Cassandra (and come off as a ladies man too), but Cassandra only shows friendship to him (at the end, she's not really nice after their first meeting).

Er, why do you think Cassandra is straight and Vivienne is bi?  Why wouldn't it be the other way around?  Is it just a hunch you have?  And please tell me it's not about the kiss on the cheek from the anime that "confirms" Cassandra as straight...

We also know about the sexuality of one companion.  They haven't released any info on any other orientation yet.  They've been keeping everyone's sexuality quiet but hers.  We have no idea who all the romances are, much less who they prefer to be with.

That's not true. Yes I am saying I think Cassandra is straight on a hunch. Just my opinion. But they have indeed released orientation info on other companions. They have confirmed that Sera is a female only option. Everyone else is speculation yes, but in Iron Bulls character profile on the site it says he will pretty much sleep with anyone who he wont break implying he is bi, and Vivienne is Orlesian just like Leliana and if you played Mark of the Assassin you know that the Orlesians are pretty free with their sexuality. I'm not generalizing but it's not that far off the mark to think that Vivienne might be bi like Leliana was especially since Leliana is not a romanceable character.

Iron Bull--They are implying he's bi, not confirmed.  I agree it's probably only a matter of time, but they haven't confirmed anything yet.  Even if he is, just because he's bisexual, doesn't mean he'll be a player LI.  That's always a possibility to consider.

The Orlais thing...oh where do I start?

Vivienne and Leliana are two very very different people.   Someone's country of origin, no matter how open that country is, has little to do with whether or not someone is straight.  I played MotA, and I own WoT, so I'm aware of the cultural differences.  They are indeed open about their sexuality, but that's a rather strange leap of logic.

Assuming that because one companion was openly bisexual in the series from Orlais that all Orlesians (male or female) will be makes no sense. For now, it's best not to assume anything, especially based upon something as trivial as sharing the same country of origin.

Well. I do not think it's such a strange leap to assume and I do assume. Everyone has a different opinion that is the reason I started this thread to have everyone share their opinions and what they think. I think that Vivienne and Iron Bull are bi and I think Cassandra is straight even though I hope she is bi. I have nothing invested in the orientation of the companions personally. What I don't really understand is why you're making such a big deal out of it. This is opinions and speculation. I have never once said anything was certain except for what the Bioware people have confirmed.

I am actually very interested in her being interested in women, I am just trying not to set myself up for inevitable disappointment, lol.
