I have preferences, one of those is playing as a Male character. That preference supersedes almost all others when it comes to RPGs. So yes, you could say that part of the problem lies with me, but I was under the impression Bioware games like to give the player a choice, not take it away.
But it would be absurd if they didn't take any options away, as well as unrealistic.
I mean, by not making the protagonist the first of their race to be born with wings, they took away our choice to engage in winged combat. By giving us a choice between male and female, they took away our choice to be a hermaphrodite.
By giving our inquisitors 2 hands, they took away the option to have a third hand that could continually ****** slap the enemy we're fighting.
You cannot make a game without removing the aspect of choice from at least some things, and in my opinion, the sexualities of others should be one of those things for realism's sake.
