Have you seen that New Asus ROG 760 Striker has 4GB of Vram and its supposed to be pretty reasonable price wise failing even a standard 760 would be more than powerful enough although I suppose it depends on what PSU he's using
Meh, 4GB VRAM GTX 760 is a waste of money in my opinion. There's no game the GTX 760 will run that needs 4GB VRAM and those games (or more accurately gaming at resolutions) that require more than 2GB VRAM won't run well on a GTX 760.
Also, even though tests show that games can nominally use more than 2GB VRAM (Bf4 for example uses up to 2.5 GB last time I checked benchmarks), ressource allocation means that the actual amount of VRAM that is needed is well below 2GB, whereas the rest is siply the GPU preloading some data and the difference in actual game performance is negligible unless you are playing at high display resolutions (in which case I wouldn't recommend a GTX 760 anyway). That aside, more important than VRAM for high resolution gaming is GPU ROPs and memory bus width. A GTX 760 with 4GB VRAM still can't handle higher resolutions because it simply can't calculate enough pixels in time due to hardware limitations.
More than 2GB VRAM are only necessary if you want to game at highest quality @ at least 1440p resolution (and if you can settle for "just" high settings or lower, 2GB VRAM will serve just fine for 1440p too).
Sorry if I'm getting too technical, don't want to hijack the thread with tech-talk ... though I fear that's too late, I'm hardly talking other stuff by now.
