My PC is an i5 3570k (3.9ghz) with 8gb DDR3 and a 2gb HD7870 and can play battlefield 4 on ultra 1920x1200 and get 30 to 60fps (average 45) so imagine could run DAI well enough to not need an upgrade.

I ran System Requirements Lab test for BF4 and it said I dont meet recommended system settings because I run Windows 7 64bit and it said I must have Window 8 (Never will buy this, garbage) also my GPU should be an HD7870 lol but said mine was a 7800 series card so don't trust this aswell

I'm sure it will run fine on W7. Windows 8 is actually great now with the recent updates and anything you don't like you can mod. W8 is definitely an improvement over modern gaming when it comes to performance differences in W7 too. The next Windows 8 update will basically make the Ui exactly like W7 if you choose. It has come a long way since it first released and is now a viable PC gaming OS, IMO.

You'll need a new computer, unfortunately.

No I won't. I upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate, and I can get a new video card, it will be fine.

Will play smoothly on Ultra settings at 1080p, if you must use anti aliasing use x2.

I've got

4GB RAM

I5-750 @ 2.66GHz

Radeon 5770

So I'm kind of nervous about where those specifications end up, though I reckon I should be able to run it in some form.

GPU/Video card: AMD Radeon HD 7900 Series

CPU: Intel® Core™ i7-3770K CPU @ 3.50GHz

RAM: 13 GB

OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Edition Service Pack 1 (build 7601), 64-bit

really would like a answer.

Btw pls dont tear me a new one this is my first post on the forums.

Edit: I discovered I had already commented on this thread with the exact same comment. Removing it due to redundancy.

Quad cores run battlefield 4 at just above minimum. If you want better you will want at least a six core cpu. I figure DA:I will be about the same. 8 gigs of ram is enough for recommended for battlefield 4 so shouldn't need any more than that. Graphics wise it looked like 660ti or better for recommended on bf4 so that should work for DA:I. I7 processors should work fine although Amd FX 8350 will work better since the I7 is still a quad core processor with 2 gpu cores for a total of 6 cores.

I can run some maps of BF4 as well as single player quite well at ultra settings on a PC that doesn't even meet the recommended system requirements. I reach 60 fps on most maps, though large maps are often south of 50 fps. This is with a Phenom II x4 965 BE @3.4 Ghz and a Radeon R9 270X running the Mantle API.

Hopefully. I got a i5 2500k and a GTX 570 but I'm hoping since I only play at 900p I can squeak by on high.

I'm building a laptop with:

Windows 7

i5-4210M dual core (2.6 Ghz, 2MB)

8GB of RAM

and a GTX 850M graphics card (2GB)

Do you think it'd run DAI on at least medium settings?

What model is your GFX? HD 7950 or 7970? You should be able to play smootly on ultra settings. 60fps with mantel on either model at 1080p

High settings at least, tweaked ultra most likely. Leave AA off. What brand is your 580?

At least high x2 anti aliasing. If your gfx is an non reference version, and the optimisation is good then tweaked ultra.

It's the EVGA version so hopefully this is optimized.

And hopefully there's not massive memory leaks. Nothing kills my buzz like having to quit then reload the game.

I'm pretty damn sure that it is a 7950.

Good thing you didn't tell that to my poor little underpowered i5 3570K. It might just have destroyed its illusions of grandeur performance and I wouldn't get my stable 60+ fps @ 1080p and High-to-ultra mixed graphic settings on the CPU intensive multiplayer matches that I am currently getting.

Or I have a really screwed up definition of what "just above minimum" means, could be too.

Aye, memory leak was a pain in the ass. You should be able to play smoothy at tweaked ultra with x2 AA. Im not sure what fps you'll get but it will be 30 and above.

Fair enough, you'll be good for ultra 60fps if you use mantel, and I am willing to bet you'll get it without too. Regardless, you have a solid rig, my friend.

I didn't say it wouldn't run it well. I just said that a 6 core processor would run it better. If you can run it just fine good. I'm happy for you. Have fun and happy gaming.

You did say it's just above minimum. That translates to it won't run well.

And by the way, cores matter little when the performance isn't good. Or how would you explain why an FX 8350 with its eight cores is about the same performance level as an i5 3570/4670 even though they have only half as many cores?
