I don't know

One of my brothers has been doing small engine repair and machining (mostly lawnmowers) for a long time, but that doesn't seem like your thing even if you had the space or materials to take it up.

Maybe small-scale woodworking or carving. Model-assembling?

Don't know if any of those options sounds appealing, just throwing things out there.

I've been doing calisthenics, but it's not that much of a mood booster, and is pretty hard obviously

thats from last month

the results are there, and i've been able to be very consistent and motivated, but I don't feel much of improvement. At most it's, yeah, that was difficult; I did this difficult thing, I can do difficult things... yeah

That does look really impressive, congratulations.

I don't know much about exercise or being active, but I'm curious about your routine. I think before you were mentioning lifting weights?

i've managed to take sam out 3 times though and feed him and he is a happy boy

managing my life with habitrpg.com it's pretty cool and encourages me to fight through fatigue to brush my teeth

panera bread.  it's a very terrible place to work and the expectations for everyone are virtually unmeetable.

Is the pay better than retail? Retail is usually easier/less stressful than food service, in my experience, and places are doing seasonal hiring nowish

i make 8.25 since i've been there over a year.  i don't know if any retail place would hire me on making that much since i don't have experience with sales.  i can't afford to live off of minimum wage anymore, unfortunately, due to being kicked out of my previous residence.

warehouses and wholesalers hire people at a lot higher than that this time of the year, but that is probably not the kind of work you want to do while working through emotional challenges, and you can't count on it for more than a couple of months.

Have you looked into Teach for America or City Year?

Shipping companies like Fed Ex, the post office, UPS, etc. are also hiring for the holidays. These jobs pay more than minimum wage, at least $10 an hour. You'll spend less time making stressful social contact with customers, but the downside is that you'll definitely be more physically active. Some positions have bad hours too, like graveyard shifts.

Also, if there's an airport near by, try finding jobs with major airlines. These jobs also pay really well for customer service work. You get a lot of cool perks too like extremely discounted flights.
