Will our companions have personalized rooms in our main Keep? Somewhere where we can find them? Or will they just float around the place doing stuff and we have to track them down? Or will it be a mix? Do we know?

I'd like it if they had their own little space, but moved around sometimes and talked to each other like in ME3. I thought that was pretty cool. I wished their spaces were more distinctly theirs, but I liked the general idea.

What do you guys think will happen in this regard?

If we have one main base where our companions and advisors will stay at all the time then ME3's way looks more likely.

I hope it's a mix

That they'll sometimes be in their own personal room as well as moving around the Keep, Camp, and Hubs

Would be more organic, especially if they have some non-cutscene conversations with each other. Like DA2 except it doesn't only happen when Hawke decides to visit and enters chat.

I loved the characters moving around in ME3. The banters you would come upon when wandering the ship were just gold. I hope they have something like that here, because it just adds so much to the characters being their own people.

Bonus if we could have a poker night like we missed out on aboard the Normandy. :P

this for me too. The way they did this in ME was great.

I think they will definitely have their own rooms at Skyhold and the other bases when we're there. However I think they will wander the base and do things as well, like for example Cassandra may be practicing swordsmanship, Varric telling stories to random troops, Scribbles will be in a room studying the scrolls, etc.

That would be great, but it makes me wonder how things would work in our camps and regional holds.

Honestly, the chatter between the companions at their homebase was one of DA2's strong points. I hope it continues into Origins, particularly with Leliana, Cullen, and Scribbles, who won't have such interactions while they walk with the party.

Same thing, but smaller scale. The keeps look huge though not compared to Skyhold so should easily be able to do it and while the camps may be more crowded, it is a camp so it should feel that way.

I hope that it is the same as the Normandy in Mass Effect 2 with the moving around and ambient conversations of ME3 without the auto dialogue.

That would be the perfect formula.

I hope it's a mix. I would love it if they had their own personal rooms but I also want them doing other stuff in the Skyhold then just staying in their rooms.
