[Gambit One]

 I'm going to download him before I start my first playthrough, but I'm worried about using him because I feel that since he is DLC, he will be detatched from the story, essentially being a mindless body. Where other characters will have more of a connection to what you're doing, and could change what goes on. 

What do you guys think?

Think of him as Shale. I suspect his implementation will be very similar.

Shale was amazing in Dragon Age, with a lot of input in conversations throughout the game. So i'm assuming that Zaeed will be the same way, i could be wrong though.

I think one of the Bioware posters mentioned playing through his loyalty mission the other day. They managed to incorporate Shale well into DA:O, I see no reason to doubt they'll do the same with Zaeed.

I only rented DA:O, so idk how Shale was, but you guys make it sound like he was pretty well woven in. So thats good.

THere was concept art couple months ago showing they have actually put thought and time into this character, its not a Hamburger and McDs. I have never seen Bioware do subpar work.





Don't say Pinnacle Station because that wasn't Bioware, that DLC was outsourced.

Yeah, I was hoping he'd be similar to Shale. In that, your other party members would react to his presence and such.

ok good. Because Zaeed seems pretty badass, and I wanted to use him alot.

shale for those that don't know ended up being like any other character you find.



If I didn't know that I had to download him I wouldn't know the difference. He interacted with other characters, had his own back story, and even triggered some NPC dialog with people you'd run into.

Altrough Bioware is part of EA, so it might be closer to the truth then you think

Bioware has probably been working on him for a while. They just didn't include him in the actual game so they could get money from the poor saps (me included) who will buy him without a second thought.

I think Zaeed will have as much content as all squadmates, i suspect he was made as DLC because i remeber bioware saying they almost didnt get the game on 2 disks, so maybe they just cut out items and made them DLC such as the new Mako as well

Except his DLC is free as part of the Cerebrus Network that all people buying the game new get for free.

Heres what I wonder:



They've said that during the final mission you have to decide who is most suited for what part of the mission and assign tasks to all of your squad mates. If you have an extra pair of hands in the form of a DLC character wouldn't that make the final battle a little easier?

Obviosly this will be like shale, where shale has dialouge in game, it would be pointless just making up dlc squad mates with no dialouge with other people, except shale use to be a girl, anyway stop freaking out, if you get mass effect 2 new you get him for free, unless you dont have internet ur out of luck.
