The most notable feature of the Inquisitor is the glowing green mark in his/her hand which allows them to close the Tears in the Veil. Could this be used for other purposes and be used differently for different classes. What do you guys think?

there is a mage spec named rift, my guess is that it specializes in using that power in an offensive magical manner
maybe pulling mana from the fade itself to fuel your magic or something like that

Well, what's interesting, is that during the gameplay trailer the inquisitor at some points falls off a collapsing bridge - but he then uses his glowing hand. I doubt it was to close a rift while falling...

I heard a rumour that you can shoot Iron Man repulsor blasts from your hand and that it will also let you perform sick Devil May Cry 4 aerial combos.
