Bioware makes me mad, Not once have they talked about or even mentioned how Inquisition will look, play & be like on the 360 & PS3 Side of things & are completely ignoring these 2 consoles.

 

All E3 was Next Gen this or PC That, not knowing most of us are still on Current Consoles cause we do not have 500 bucks to get these expensive consoles heck 399.99 is still OVER PRICED. There is a thing called Every day life. From Groceries, Bills, Gas, I cant drop down 399.99 on a console. 299 yes, but not 399.99 I told myself that 299.99 would be my Console Limit.

 

Back to the matter at hand, Bioware has yet to mention, show or give an example of what Inquisition looks like in the PS3 version. Meaning the game will be Half-Assed, Rushed, Or Full of Tech Glitches being like other Multiplatform games such as Watch Dogs. Which Watch Dogs on the PS3 version was Un-Playable.

 

I feel like Inquisition will be the same on the PS3 version, I also have a nice TV being a 50 Inch using Full 1080p also I use an HDMI cable on my PS3, so I hope Inquisition will look good on my TV through an HDMI. Just worried Bioware will not show that same love & passion for Current as they do for Next Gen console.

 

They probably figure hey lets just Kick Current in the nuts & making it the cheapest & crappiest version of the game we can make it, Regardless I will play Inquisition on my PS3 could be as bad as Watch Dogs is.

 

WHY NO TALK ON PS3 VERSION BIOWARE.

Why would they talk about it? Companies don't care about the people who are essentially "holdouts" on the last generation of consoles.

 

Quite frankly they shouldn't even bother with development time on PS3 and 360.

I also plan on getting a ps4 just before release and preorder the game for it

Companys don‘t care about last gen. If you don‘t buy new consoles you get left behind and the crap version.

Lol your kidding right? A lot of gamers don't by consoles at launch..and the majority of their market will still be on last gen by the time DAI releases.

By the time that Dragon Age: Inquisition releases, you're getting into the start of the Christmas shopping season.

 

There is usually a one to two year delay in full adoption of a new console depending on the price and economic climate. Add to it that for some people who buy their consoles themselves and save appropriately (while still managing things like food, gas, housing, utilities, etc) it actually matches up as a one to two year cycle.

I get it that they don't want to put much time in promotion for PS3 and Xbox 360. They want to show the game as pretty as it can be. I would like some screenshots though, I'm planning on getting DAI for PS3 as well and I would like to know how much worse it actually looks like in PS3.. although it will probaply be still rather pretty.

You want an idea as to how it will look?

 

Look at the top tier games for PS3 or 360. And then stop your expectations there.

Dude, can you blame them? Most people have either moved on to the next-gen consoles or are gonna buy the game for the pc.

 

They said the ps3 and xbox 360 versions are still gonna look good, but they are gonna have to downscale it quite a bit, as expected.

BioWare have said that the game won't be as pretty on last gen consoles. What else is there for them to say on the subject?

Sorry I just don't want a New Console right now, if I did get a new Console it would be the Wii U, cause of Star Fox, Bayonetta 2, Zelda & Smash Bros, Xenoblade, & Shin Megami X Fire Emblem.

 

Also I found me a Wii U for 199.99 which is 10x better than 199.99. also I quite happy on my PS3 this year & Next year with Persona 5, Tales of Zesteria, TOX-2, Diablo 3 Ultimate, Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, Sacred 3, Transformers Rise of the Dark Spark. currently I am playing Drakengard 3. Also I still have my Vita cant wait for FREEDOM WARS.

 

I see no reason to get the PS4 until 2016, which is when I see the new Mass Effect coming, Until that OMG comes I am staying PS3 also I have other games to get or play such as Fairy Fencer F, or Street Fighter 4 Ultra.

 

Also the beauty about Next Gen, means Current Games will be Dirt Cheap while everyone else will be paying top dollar for those games I can rack up & buy me 20 to 30 Elcheapo Used games to the price of a Full Next Gen Game.

 

Waist Money on Next Gen, play crap like the Order, while I can play awesomeness of Persona 5.

If you're going to have a PS4 at release why on earth would you order it for PS3 as well, unless I'm reading that wrong.

Development of games will now start to shift away from last generation, decade-old hardware. As it should do. Those consoles have peaked, and it's time for developers to move into the current generation of hardware and the PC. Games like Batman: Arkham Knight and The Witcher 3 simply wouldn't be possible if the developers decided to keep developing for the PS3 and 360. and I'm not talking about visuals. With the current generation of hardware, developers are able to do so much more. Frankly, I'm hoping cross-gen games will die out after this year.

 

Don't expect to see last generation versions on display until the game is out, and don't go expecting much. The game isn't going to look or run anywhere near as good as what they've been showing on high-end PC hardware. An obvious fact perhaps, but just make sure your expectations are in check.

It's really not that hard to save up for one of the next-gen consoles I did it making $7.25 an hour. All you have to do is save I agree with Caladin the next gen consoles were announced months in advance and by the time DA:I comes out it will have been almost a year. If you haven't saved it's not EA's fault.

That will contribute to it looking worse... It will probably look ok, but it will play like crap since it's the common route to make the game look good at the price of frame rates.Those E3 demos were PC so we will have to wait and see what any console version looks like.

Of course they are not going to showcase how it will look on old equipment.     That's just silly.    You don't go to an expo to showcase your new tech/graphics and then use 10 year old equipment.

 

Here's exactly what you can expect:   Your game will play pretty much exactly as everyone else's gameplay-wise.    Your texture resolution is going to be much lower and grainier.  You will have fewer lighting sources and shadows will likely be non-existent.   No water reflections, and a lot less flora and fauna roaming the world just for looks.    Your draw distance will be MUCH less.   This is the distance at which objects become visible. 

 

There will likely also be fewer 'random' NPCs in cities that are just standing around to add 'life' to the game.  

 

Those are some of the things you can expect.

Personally i plan on playing on 360 and sure the game will look worse but i dont give a damn....hell, it would probably be 4-5 years until i even consider buying a ps4 or xbone

You'll probably find, like with most games, any footage shown will be from a top-end PC to make it as pretty as possible. They want to show their game at it's best, not at it's worst.

You just have to look at the difference between GTAV as it is now and how it is looking on PS4/Xbox One to know that you aren't going to get the same quality on the last gen. I expect it'll be good by last gen standards but not as good as it will on current gen, and then smugly out in front with the best will be the PC gamers with the best specs.

I think I remember one of the team saying something about less NPCs and a lower textures. So expect that.
