At times, Inquisition looks a little too good for a Dragon Age. Though demonstrated on 'medium settings' (essentially equivalent to how it might appear on an Xbox 360), there are several woodland and mountain environments that even outpace the natural splendour achieved in Skyrim, the game that BioWare has made no small point of seeking to outdo. It's a sight to behold.
Worried that PS3 version of Inquisition will look like CRAP

Does anyone really believe that stuff ? Until I see it running on console hardware I trust nothing coming out of E3. It's a show designed around selling you stuff.

Of course they are not going to showcase how it will look on old equipment. That's just silly. You don't go to an expo to showcase your new tech/graphics and then use 10 year old equipment.
Here's exactly what you can expect: Your game will play pretty much exactly as everyone else's gameplay-wise. Your texture resolution is going to be much lower and grainier. You will have fewer lighting sources and shadows will likely be non-existent. No water reflections, and a lot less flora and fauna roaming the world just for looks. Your draw distance will be MUCH less. This is the distance at which objects become visible.
There will likely also be fewer 'random' NPCs in cities that are just standing around to add 'life' to the game.
Those are some of the things you can expect.
On top of that, the loading times will be a good deal longer, actual resolution of the image will be significantly smaller and the framerate will be all over the place.
Unfortunately, that is the reality of games on last gen hardware these days. Even the best games, such as The Last of Us and Grand Theft Auto V, visibly suffer due to them being on old hardware.

They've been demoing DAI, a game running on Frostbite 3, on a PC with a high-end AMD GPU. It's going to look fantastic.

To be honest, if I were you I'd be grateful that the game is coming out on last-gen at all. A lot of companies are (not immediately of course) starting to create games for next-gen and PC only, because last-gen consoles can't handle the graphics software they want to use. As someone who has the game, DAO looked terrible on the 360 and DA2 was only a bit better. You really shouldn't expect Inquisition to look amazing on the PS3. They've got a new engine and they want to push it as far as it can go; nothing wrong with that.

If you're going to have a PS4 at release why on earth would you order it for PS3 as well, unless I'm reading that wrong.
2 reasons
1) since I plan on getting a ps4 doesn't mean I will. Plans change for whatever reason
2) My lady friend is interested in playing the game. So I will get another 50 inch tv and we can play together
I guess a third reason can be added and that would be, becasue I can

Im not worried about it, battlefield 4 for instance may not look as good on xbox 360 as on PC or xone, but it still looks good.

As long as it looks and runs better than Dragon Age 2, I'm cool with it.
All of you shut up and stop replying please.

Bioware makes me mad, Not once have they talked about or even mentioned how Inquisition will look, play & be like on the 360 & PS3 Side of things & are completely ignoring these 2 consoles.
All E3 was Next Gen this or PC That, not knowing most of us are still on Current Consoles cause we do not have 500 bucks to get these expensive consoles heck 399.99 is still OVER PRICED. There is a thing called Every day life. From Groceries, Bills, Gas, I cant drop down 399.99 on a console. 299 yes, but not 399.99 I told myself that 299.99 would be my Console Limit.
Back to the matter at hand, Bioware has yet to mention, show or give an example of what Inquisition looks like in the PS3 version. Meaning the game will be Half-Assed, Rushed, Or Full of Tech Glitches being like other Multiplatform games such as Watch Dogs. Which Watch Dogs on the PS3 version was Un-Playable.
I feel like Inquisition will be the same on the PS3 version, I also have a nice TV being a 50 Inch using Full 1080p also I use an HDMI cable on my PS3, so I hope Inquisition will look good on my TV through an HDMI. Just worried Bioware will not show that same love & passion for Current as they do for Next Gen console.
They probably figure hey lets just Kick Current in the nuts & making it the cheapest & crappiest version of the game we can make it, Regardless I will play Inquisition on my PS3 could be as bad as Watch Dogs is.
WHY NO TALK ON PS3 VERSION BIOWARE.
So you can afford a 50 inch tv which probably costs the same as a console but you cant afford a console because you have bills to pay?

Think dragon age 2 graphics maybe slightly better, but the old consoles are old just be glad your getting it for those systems.
At the big events you want to show off next gen and pc, not old hardware.
Just my view.

you say this every week, always including how you have a 50" inch HD tv.
No-one cares about your tv.
If he could afford his TV I don't see why he can't afford a current gen console. Heck, he always names a serious amount of games he is playing or wants to play. If he can afford all of those games he can most certainly afford a current gen console by buying a few games less.

Troll on almost as epic a level as the Bethesda Game Studio's Forums infamous user: "SKYRIM2WHERERU"
My advice: Spend 299.99 on a new console (PS4 or X1), and trade in your PS3+Games to make up the difference. That should allow you to not break over your 300$ budget.

It's just appalling the number of people on this guy's case for not owning a PS4. Ever considered maybe he could be in a pinch right now, so he can't really afford the console? Maybe the 50'' TV he has is 5 years old? It's not like all of you are living with him, right? Even if he's not in any trouble right now, I think his decision to keep his console is justified. There are games that are going to be released for the PS3, and if he can hold out until 2016, let him, why the hell do you care?
And what's with all this crap about "stop playing on last gen"? Really? You know it's not his fault that Bioware decided to include the development of PS3 and Xbox 360 versions right? If he's paying 60$ just like all you guys, I think that gives him the right to be worried about how the game will look. Sure, it need not look as good as on PS4 but that wasn't what he was asking, yet all of you just got on the "get a current-gen console and shut up" bandwagon.
Sigh...

There's nothing wrong with asking for footage of the last-gen versions. But when you say stuff like "They are going to make the game as crappy and cheap as they can" then I'm fine with dismissing the argument.

Dismissing the argument is one thing, but that was not what I was speaking of. Just the sheer arrogance of people pushing the guy onto a new system because of how they are tired of seeing developers cater to last-gen users.

Most of us are looking at the bigger picture.
First of all, every thread it seems like he's bragging about his super-awesome 50 inch 1080p mega HDMI super cool Plasma TV. There's a dissonance between that, and then claiming to be too poor to buy new hardware.*
Second, he claims to have bills to pay, and then says his "Console Budget" is $299.99, to say nothing of all the other games he "Plans" on buying at $60 a pop. That means with two less games that year, he's covered the difference already. Again, another cognitive dissonance. (Don't we all just love that Phrase! and yes, it existed before gaming.)
But you're nothing, if not consistent in your inability to internalize all the information before forming a conclusion.

You could have done the same thing for free by applying for the Battlefield Hardline beta, just saying.

It's no secret that the last-gen versions of the game will lag behind in terms of graphical fidelity.
If you're so worried (and assuming money isn't an issue), why not grab a PS4 or Xbox One while you're at it?
Even outside of DA:I, lots of great games are coming to those consoles.
