The body position distorts the view. I just drew lines in a paint program (sad I know) you straighten the shoulders of the model and her breasts are higher.

look at any image of a bra from the side and see how the mass of the breast is distributed compared to a nude breast

As someone whose only experience with things like this is having breast I'm having trouble seeing a huge difference maybe because Sera and the model look to be different cup sizes to me at least. The model's cup size looks a lot smaller than Sera's so wouldn't it sit naturally higher anyway? Though like I said I don't things like this for a living so my knowledge is limited but in most of pictures it doesn't really look off to me, might be due to knowing people whose breast are placed like that even in a bra but they're much larger than Sera so that is most likely why they sit as low as hers does.

I'm guessing I shouldn't have used google images then cause I just ended up with a lot of women either facing forward or with their back turned not a lot of side but a ton of breast. Though I kind of see what you mean but to me it looks like women of similar size are constant with one another in a bra, but I just did a quick google search so I may have to look for more references.
Edit: Darn you google only giving me good side shots of naked breast and hardly any of ones with bras.

I don't think anyone is saying BW modelers can't do wrong. I just don't see how with that very fact in mind, paid professionals having the record of making mistakes you can go with straight face "axl and psdo can't be wrong because they do this stuff for a living".They're artists telling BioWare's artists they got anatomy wrong. Just to clarify, because this picture is giving me idea there may be misunderstanding here, stemming from how it was originally portrayed with pics. Are you saying that the breast shape should be more 'implant-like' (in lack of better term) because of the bra push-up effect, or that the entire breast area should be moved up, like the initial edit you did was showing?side view explains it better

Quite simply because it's reasonable to value the opinions of women artists on boobs, over men with a history of getting boobs wrong in their games.
The emphasis on this being their job isn't directed at BioWare artists and modelers, but at nonprofessionals in this thread pulling excuses out of their butt.

I read it as the latter, and that's where my disagreement came from. If you meant the former then that's another kettle of fish, and i don't really have a dog in this fight.
they can be slightly higher overall but if by 'implant like' you mean 'how boobs actually look in a bra' which you can google to your heart's content, then yes. apart from lift the difference between a breast in a bra and out of a bra is how the core mass of the breast tissue sits. This is characteristic of even simple bras without padding. as of right her chest is indistinguishable from my chest if I look in a mirror without wearing a bra
if googling 'bra' has you (rightfully) skeptical of which models have natural or enhanced breasts you can watch this video tutorial of bra fitting to see what the ideal fit for a bra is
