After that question in ME1, that little side quest all but vanished. You think they're gonna tie up that loose end in ME2? It's always bugged me that I never was able to find him. While I'm at it I'm wondering how that quest would have played out...

You know, I've played this game,like a dozen times, but I've NEVER completed it. The only time it seems to be available for me is right after they lock up the Normandy near the end, and that's the only time you can't go and talk to Anderson about it.

Ok, on a more serious note than my previous post, who is Bane. I can't seem to remember who he is.

Yeah, but Anderson hints that its a cover and his death's been faked. And it had something to do with Cerberus. If you talk to kohoku he tells you something about something along the lines of his crew were the ones who found his ship, then the crew went missing. There was clearly something else BioWare meant to add.

I'm hoping since Cerberus plays a larger role in ME2, that we'll get something to tie up the Banes quest.

Banes is the man who is behind blackmailing the Dr on the Citadel. Then following the cues it leads you to what i described above, and subsequently to a dead end.

No, you have it backwards.

Banes is dead, but his death is being covered up. People still think he's alive.

Hmm. You may be right. I still was not satisfied of the end of that regardless. If he still lives, I want to find him. If he's dead, I want to find out why it's been covered up and who is using his name to blackmail the Dr. It's the only thing that pissed me off about ME1.
