Its a toss up right now between a Female human Knight Enchanter or Female Qunari Reaver. If im going to go down the Tal Vashoth Road, you can damn well be certain my Kossith is going to break all the rules and be the big bad Warrior with her own 2h Asala. Even more so if theres a Vigilance type quest in DA:I so a blade can be made for her hand alone.

Human Male Mage.  Probably Rift Mage.  Reason for human male mage: I tend to play something close to myself on my first playthrough, make choices as I would, etc.  Reason for Rift Mage: seems like it could be a natural calling for a mage that wants to understand how things work and why he is what he is.

Qunari Female Rogue.  Probably Artificer or Tempest.  Artificer seems more intersting, but the idea of a qunari tempest is pretty cool.  I usually will feel like there are some things I missed in first playthrough (maybe some party members I didn't spend enough time with) and will pick up on that in a second playthrough.

Male Qunari Mage, most likely gay, unless Qunari allows me a lot of romance options, then I'm going to be a total **** and get as many as I can ;3. Second playthrough will be an asexual (no romance at all) human female warrior, paladin-style. I want her to be vicious, just, but callous and iron-fisted.

Main:Female elf mage,whatever specialization focuses or includes on nature magic or shape-shifting,provided that we get any of these options at all.

Right now, my current plan is to roll as a female Rogue - my canon Warden is a male Warrior while my canon Hawke is a male Mage, so I figure time to try out the last class with a female character for a change (what's kinda funny in that I generally don't prefer to play female in the DA:O or DA2, but in the Mass Effect series, I have more FemSheps than I do male Shepards, lol). Plus as a female, I see I'll be able to get Sera as a LI, that's definitely a bonus 

 

That said, I have no idea whether my Femquisitor will be either elf or qunari - had originally planned on a female elf, but after seeing the female qunari in action with this E3, I'm seriously torn on which to go with.

I always played as a human male mage in the past (love magic, being a male and like to experience natural romances) but the thing that changed my mind this time around is that Sera is a f/f romance only. Also the voice of the female inquisitor seems great so all in all I will need to play a female.

Hmmmm. I'm probably going to run with a Female Qunari Rogue or Mage first. My Warden was a City Elf Rogue and my Hawke was a Mage, so I should probably pick a Warrior to round it out, but meh. That said, FemQun Warrior might be pretty epic.

 

I might run an elf too at a later point. It will vary.

I'm feeling a male dwarf rogue inquisitor for my first playthrough.

 

I'm kinda tired of humans, honestly.

Well, in all my previous games I always went with male warrior, simply because I can live in the character more easily, and I like playing as a warrior. 

 

However, I'm having difficulties this time around because:

-all the classes seem soooooo fun to play with.

-I don't know what my preferred teammates are going to be class-wise, and I want a good team.

-qunari seem very cool to play as as well.

-mage looks super fun this time around (I found mage to be silly in DAO, but rather decent in DAII).

 

So I'm still on the fence, but I'll probably stick to my guns and go with human male.

 

I'll be needing a lot of playthroughs though

male human shield + sword warrior as always really...second one i will  choose between rogue (archer) or mage, human or elf , male again. i only play male characters.

 

i doubt i'll ever finish a playthrough with  a dwarf or qunari, but will probably do the prologue with these...

Mage and male. I haven't decided on the race yet. I'm leaning towards Qunari, but will probably go human. I'm for sure gonna play a femQunari mage at one point tho. Not really interested in dwarfs, although I will admit one of my favorite Wardens was my dwarf commoner.

I think the most interesting and intriguing (in-game as well as RL) combination would be Female Qunari Mage. So when I'll play (whenever that will be ), I think I'll roll out such a character first! =)

I have no idea what I'm really gonna play, literally everything about my plans can change once I get into CC, but so far I think I'll either play a male Qunari rogue, specialized in archery or a female dwarf warrior or rogue.

Gtdef is right. We live for these kinds of threads! For my first playthrough, I'm going to be playing as myself. I'm not going to look at game guides or romance guides or anything. I'm just going to react as I would. I'll also be a Dalish female rogue, since I've always played Dalish first in my DAO games. (I love the Dalish!)

Aha, well Male Qunari Mage has been my chosen setup since the beginning. As for specs... I don't know, however I plan to go through every single possible class for each race, wich means 3 Qunari, 3 Humans, 3 Elves, and 2 Dwarves (Female Dwarf Rouge, Giggity)

If previous games in the series are any indication, I'll be running the opening of the game a half dozen or so times with different races, personalities, genders, and voices until one sticks. I'll probably end up something dwarfy when all is said and done, but who knows?
