[Terminator Force]

Easiest would be Assault Rifles, as they can even get done without me having to pay attention. I practically enjoy every single weapon in this class very much. My now maxed Lancer is my current fave weapon. But also love stuff like the Phaeston, Avenger, Mattock, Geth Pulse Rifle, CAR, and yes even Harrier (love it on Batarians). My least fave would maybe be the Falcon? The Argus goes back and forth in a very strong love/hate relationship. The other URs I just got maxed or almost, so I need more time with.

 

Next would be SMGs, cause there aren't that many and the Shuriken is really the only weapon in the whole game I usually avoid for Gold, but even without that weapon being used, doing SMGs is np. Temptest, Locust, BPP, & CSMG are my faves. Least is obviously Shuriken. I used to love the Hornet, but ever since I started liking the Temptest more, I fell out of love with it more. I still use the Hurricane with a stability mod, so it don't feel as cheap as if it had a Heat Sink.

 

Sniper Rifles is next. Though I'm not always in the mood for sniping, when I am, I'm totally fine with sniping. Plus sniping is such a much needed spice to mixing things up by quite a bit. Mantis, Viper, Incisor, Widow, Kishock, Indra, & CSR are my fave so far. The new maxed URs I need more time with. 

 

Pistols is the second hardest to do. So right now I really looking for classes to best pair with a Pistol. My fave are the Eagle, Scorpion & Paladin (& I guess Carnifex too then?). Not to crazy for the Arc Pistol anymore. The Executioner I haven't spent much time with lately, but it should be a fave of mine, I think? Suppressor I need more time with. I think the Phalanx I like too?

 

 

So that leaves Shotguns the hardest to repeat the challenges for, lol. My absolute fave of these would be the Graal, Claymore, and I just realized just recently I love the Geth Plasma Shogun a lot too. I used to love the Raider, but it's range being so weak really made me fall out of love with it since I don't usually play in your face classes outside of the Jug (which works really good on him & used it a lot on him in the past too). Venom I need to spend some time with now that it's at max, so hopefully I see the things in it that make everyone else crazy about it? Crusader seems perfect to me cause it's pinpoint accurate, but the store is leaving this gun the most behind always, so it'll have to wait just a bit more (almost there). Reeger + Piranha are pretty cheese, lol. The Wraith is still not impressing me at level 9 for some reason? And all the common/uncommon weapons are really the only ones in this tier outside of Shuriken that feel like a chore for me.

I'd say SMGs are the hardest to repeat for me only because I only use like one or two of them. Easiest for me is shotguns as I use a variety of them. Only one I don't really use all that often is the Reegar cheese.

For me sniper rifles are the hardest. I just can't get enough points in group games and I get fed up of playing solo's after two or three.

I really don't like most snipers so that is most difficult for me. Pistols have a few good guns but the rest are just so bad

Easiest is SMGs since its only 5 guns.. and there are 5 very good SMGs. (Herpderpicane, Punisher, CSMG, GPSMG, Tempest)

Hardest is Pistols bc there isn't a lot of DPS there outside of Talon, Arc Pistol and maybe the Paladin.

I go through the Assault rifles and Shotguns quite regularly. The only weapons I grow tired of doing in those two catagories are the GPS and believe it or not, the Venom. I find the lack of headshots, penetration and overall boss damage doesn't fit my play very well.

Easiest are shotguns and pistols. Variety triumphs all

- One shot weapons (check): claymore and executioner

- Close range weapons (check): raider and talon

- Good accuracy weapons (check): wraith, paladin, arc pistol, crusader

- Access to good mods (check): Pistol power magnifier, melee stunner, omni blade, HVB, heavy barrel, smart choke

- Stagger sticks (check): Acolyte, scorpion, venom, GPS

- Fits every class (check): Power spammer or weapon platform, doesn't matter. They fit like a glove.

 

ARs come next in terms of ease. Decent variety, fit most, if not all classes well and do good damage too. Most of them are easy to use too.

 

Snipers are fourth. Have nice variety (javelin, BW, valiant, kishock, indra, CSR etc). But the really good ones are heavy and need an infiltrator to use them, and are bad choices for power focused classes. The lighter ones are really fun to use - valiant, CSR, indra but I am not all that big a fan of scoping and so, they are below ARs.

 

SMGs may require only 5 weapons but boy, do they feel boring. Way too similar (point, press down mouse button and kill enemies). Hornet is a bit different - I like it.

Easiest for me is smgs, as mbeast says only 5 guns and three of them I use with regularity anyway (Hurricane, punisher, CSMG)  the others can be done very wuickly using the turian soldier or quarian soldier becaue even though they are light hitters they are head shot accurate.

 

Toughest?  Hmmm, shotguns perhaps.

Shotguns are easiest for me because they aren't gimped. There is always another good shotgun to go to once you finish the one you're on. Same with snipers and assault rifles. I don't have any issues with pistols. When I'm in a pistol mood I can crank that challenge out pretty quickly. SMG's are the hardest, which is ironic since it takes the least amount of weapons to complete. They are just "blah" past the Hurricane and CSMG. The shotgun challenge is the only one I'll get without actually going for it since that tier of weapons has so many fun ones to use.

AR is the one I get by accident. The others I have to grind for.

 

Now, a slightly different question: You have zero points in any of the weapon challenges, you want to complete them all, which weapons do you pick to make each challenge easiest?

Lone wolf was the easiest. Machinist was the hardest for me because it required 200+ waves completed with Quarians and geth. I hardly use Quarians so it felt like a tedious grind

I have ARs, SRs, and Shotguns done the most
Least is SMGs
I think SMGs is the hardest because there aren't as many so you basically have use all of them to get the challenges done. They are also often used as faster weapons which means you may not be getting as many kills with them if you use them on power kits

Weapon Challenge:
Assault > Shotgun > SMG > Pistol > Sniper

I don't snipe much and only use a few pistols. I find combat mastery easier than Sniper Mastery.

Enemy Faction Challenge:
Collectors > Geth > Reapers > Cerberus

I find Collectors the least grinding followed by Geth. Reaper you either have to grind Husks or Canniabls depending if you play gold or plat. Cerberus is last as it's usually Guardians you must grind, but if you play platinum or cheese w10 silver, it's usually Troopers and Centurions.

Sniper Rifles is the easiest for me. Currently at x14. I use four of them on a regular basis plus a couple I like occasionally. Plus Sniper Rifle Medals just happens without me noticing. Then I end up just needing a few more so I just go and do them.

 

Combat Mastery is in the "weapons" category, that one also just ends up happening.

 

Pistol Mastery is the lowest at x2. I barely use them.

You could easily add the Eagle to that list of pistols. It's DPS is very respectable. Decent clip size, too, even though I never even slap on the Mag mod.

 

Do you have any suggestions for GPSMG? Barely use this thing, but feel like I should.

Here's a suggestion:

Geth Engineer with AP ammo+damage barrel/warp ammo+piercing mod. Use overload to strip shields and shoot enemies in the face.

Shotgun mastery's definitely the easiest, because shotguns are awesome (obviously).
