While I'm glad they included the optional invites if you REALLY hated a teammate and didn't want them at the party, has anyone ever not invited everyone available? I think I did so once, when sabotaging the genophage I didn't invite Grunt or meet with him earlier but since then I make sure he's dead or never let out of the tank in sabotage runs, but generally everyone gets to go; the party is so much richer with a full crew. Are there characters who are non-grata at the party in your runs?

It was a lot quieter and the apartment was a lot emptier. I don't recall seeing anyone standing around alone. And yes, Steve did enjoy the party. In fact no one mentions any of the other characters missing.

I often skip inviting Samara and Zaeed. I have also left Kasumi off the invite list on occasion. I might have left Jacob off the invitation list once. Maybe Jack got left off once; can't remember.

Zaeed is a riot at the party, especially the quiet one with Garrus. I'm not a Samara fan, but again I like her at the party because she reminds me of parties in my youth where there would always be an introspective type in the corner on LSD.

Everybody that's alive gets invited. Some of them on auto-invite, and at least one of them I don't care much for, but she's actually not too annoying, so meh, I guess.
It's a party for everybody who served on the Normandy, one way or another. And I like seeing all the faces gathered together and reminiscing about good ol' times. Too bad I can't invite Kenneth and Gabby as well, Chakwas, Adams... but I'll make do

Lol, I did invite just Grunt and Wrex a couple of times. Sometimes just Wrex for headcanon reasons. Jacob and Javik are the two least that I would want at my party.

The post I made above with having only those characters at the party was because all the other squadmates were dead. Otherwise I invite everyone that can be invited to the party.

I always invite everyone. I don't dislike any of the characters enough to leave them out.
Plus, can you imagine how awkward it would be on the Normandy if you left some of them out?

Can you leave any of the Normandy squad mates out? Let me think. Hmmm. James and Liara are auto-invites. I guess you could leave out Garrus. What about the VS? I think you can leave off Javik.

In my last trilogy run I Virmired Wrex so he never made it out of ME 1. Prefer having him around though so I am so glad I am getting him out of Virmire in one piece this time. And yes the party is a lot better with both him and Grunt.

Lol, right? If it was an option, the party would've escalated into some kind of dance club, much to Liara's dismay. Shepard's real home is a stealth warship anyways.

I agree. I enjoy Ken and Gabby's characters, and would've liked to see how they would contribute to the group, especially since they're always isolated in engineering and never interact with the rest of the crew.
