Hey folks. Need help.

Using modified baseitems.2da.  It's in the hak associated with the module/campaign.  Override is clean/empty.  When I go to view the 2da all my custom stuff pops right up.  But when I go to make a blueprint to test stuff, and try to select the new base item, all I'm getting is the stock nwn2 base item list, not my stuff.

VERY frustrating. I'm clearly doing something wrong, but for the life of me can't figure what.  Any ideas?

Have you tried it with the file in your override? It could also be that another hak has the file and loads it first, or that something is wrong with the new rows you made. Maybe you could post one or two?

Should work.  Eight months ago I had this working like a charm, and have just now returned to this portion of the project...

That's the baseitems.2da

Have also tried it with file in override -- same effect.  Reads the 2da for 2da-editing purposes just fine, but won't let me actually select from the new baseitems list.

The 2da looks fine. How about disabling your other haks or trying to load it alone in a new module?

Are you able to select the new item types in TS?

This is a new module with no haks selected at all -- I've just got the 2da tossed into a campaign folder. Or the override.

I'm hoping this isn't some stupid GOG thing, b/c I'm at wit's end -- appreciate your stepping in to help.

Just checked this on my Ancient And Venerable Lappy of Uselessness -- and it works fine.  So it's some GOG thing with the toolset not wanting to actually use the 2das in the TS.  Anybody know a potential workaround?

Nwn2 can be played out of a folder, it doesn't need to be installed on a machine. If your laptop doesn't have an issue I'd copy paste the game install folder over and then maybe update your CD keys from GOG.
