Is DA:I going back the armour types used in DA:O, with full set armour set bonuses and more types of unique sets (Effort armour). Or is it going back to the DA2 mix and match setup, with only one unique set to be found each act or dlc.

Also is DA:I going back to the DA:O item material tiers.

We know very little about armour other than we'll have complete freedom on what we choose to wear.

I hope there are moderately more sets than DA2 and less than DA:O. And I hope that at least one of every set is attainable without hundreds of reloads. *looks at Commander's Plate Armor from DA:O*

If we have armour sets, I'd rather the bonus scales with the amount of parts of the set used, rather than being simply on/off based on whether you've got all of them.  That way you're not effectively dictating all the armour slots.

It sounds like there will be more verity and more to choose from. I hope that is true, I also like that crafting allows you to upgrade Armour you like so you don't have to trade it for one with better specs that may not look as good.

aye crafting armors up from a grade level would be good to see IE iron up to steel but greatly limit how it can happen cant have people cheating there way up to dragonbone and red velvet dye in the first part
