If a lack of 'gun holster's actually destroyed a game for you... then just don't bother with DA:I

It will have graphical issues... but nearly every single game released has some sort of graphical issue...

I really don't think though, that small scale graphical issues should impact much if a game plays well, and tells a good story

I noticed this too but I am only gonna to judge the final version, still the technical side although pleasing was never my priority in games, if the story and character are better than the previous games, I will be happy.

I can alleviate the concern on the party thing. The demo shown on IGN/Gamespot is a condensed version of the full one shown offscreen at E3, in the showfloor: there was a leaked video of it (it was Shot down) where we can see the party with the PC in the same area as of the IGN demo, with banter as well. It seems that in the condensed version the camera was focused on the PC, and we couldn't see the companions.
Howewer, it seems companions do disappear in case you use mounts, though it's not something confirmed yet.

Awesome, the missing companions in the demo footage was probably the only thing that worried me about DA's showing at E3 this year.

Though thinking about it now, it really shouldn't have; companions ran around with the Inquisitor in last year's PAX demo footage. You wouldn't invest all that effort into AI pathing code just to cut it later.

That's exactly my stance. BW is first and foremost famous for their stories and characters. That's what I focus on.

Every time the selected character went to attack the dragon in melee, it clipped through the head. Iron Bull (melee character) got stuck in a running animation on the leg. That needs to be fixed, it's not acceptable, period.

That EA confiscated that particular video makes it worse. It's possible they did it because it gives the plot away, or they may just not want people to see what happens when you don't play the game out in a particular way. If the High Dragon fight always plays out like that, then it needs to be redesigned, or fixed.

It's pretty typical of the industry to keep a tight grip on game information before release. EA removing the video doesn't really tell us anything. That they didn't remove the PAX videos was actually surprising to most people.

Given that they're still in Alpha, bugs are to be expected. And I'm sure they'll be certain bugs and graphical hiccups on release. It's a big RPG with a lot of scope. As long as I can still enjoy and beat the game, I'm not that worried. I'm especially not worried about clipping during a dragon fight. I'll be too busy trying to kill it to care.

The game is being released on x360 and PS3.

So i do expect some limitations unfortunately.
