I really want it to be Cullen and watch all the fan-girls melt into puddles of identical sadness
So, if Sera is lesbian.. that means there's a homosexual male too, right?

I don't think all the fangirls would melt from the sad. Some of them are probably already planning to romance him with a guy if he's bisexual, for the sake of the hot guy-on-guy action.
(Not that I am going to do that with Dorian or anything, no. *cough*)

I hope then that he is a non-romanceable option but teases you the whole time until eventually giving a "lol nope!"

But we already know he's a romance. And a 'swoon-worthy' one at that according to a dev who is also a Cullenite. There's kissing, at the very least, which is more than there was with Sebastian.

That is entirely fan speculation. We know there will be a variety of sexualities, and the devs have implied that there will be options for everyone, but we don't have numbers.
As for who, though, it could really be anybody. I didn't expect Sera to be the lesbian option, to be honest. But she does set a good precedence that maybe the gay option will also be a companion romance.
hopefully not (I am not a homophobe, but as I want to see (as in play for myself) all content (not just watch it on YT), I would hate for an interesting character (Dorian is - for my female Inquisitors) to be gay only...I don't like lesbian only all that much either!)
greetings LAX
ps: I know some gay people and all of them are ok (no one ever came on to me), so i do not have any kind of problem with gays

If you want to see all content, then play as a different gender. You would still have to do that even if all of them were straight. If you can't handle gay content (even though you "have gay friends") then that is your problem.

Three things:
1.) There's definitely a lesbian and will almost certainly going to be a gay option. You will just have to miss out on that content. I don't like playing straight romances, but I would never be so bold as to wish that they don't put straight options in the game.
2.) Really? You need to clarify that the reason why you are okay with "gay people" is because they never hit on you? Ugh.
3.) If you feel the need to write "I'm not a homophobe" and "I don't have any kind of problem with gays", you probably are saying stuff that will not be well received by gay people.

Why do people keep thinking this. Don't you know how popular gay male romances are with a whole ton of "fangirls"?
Me included.

I say they make the Iron Bull gay. That would be something different and something I just may consider wanting to do with a male character.

On a final note, if people want to direct their anger towards the manly ugliness of Cassandra, direct it towards me, the straight white guy that thinks Cassandra is very attractive.
I find her attractive as well especially with the scar on her left cheek.
I also want to mention, Morrigan is attractive as well.

I find her very attractive too. She's exactly the type of lady I'd switch teams for, so to speak.
I really don't get the complaints. I guess some people are confused because she's a woman yet her breasts aren't popping out of her armor and she's got a practical haircut?

Yeah, I think people who think like that don't really understand the majority of "fangirls". Wasn't slash fiction basically created by "fangirls"?

It's mostly, I think, that the look isn't as similar to DAO's as they would have preferred.

I'm out of likes, so, but thank you for this post. ![]()

I'm sure that's part of it, but I have heard her chest size as a reason as well. The words, "as flat as a 12 year old boy," got thrown around. ![]()

If I were just to go onto looks alone, Id say no, never no, no, no. Not because I find her unattractive, looks are definitly not everything. I learned the hard way, twice.
Im waiting to see what they are like before I pick someone.
I read some companion banter between Sera and Iron Bull (I think it was from a Youtube vid that got taken down because of copyright) and that got me way more excited about playing the game with them over any visuals I've seen of them so far.

Yean I find Cassandra really attractive too and I was and still am hoping she's an option for female inquisitors. ![]()
I'm still waiting to see how the characters turn out in game before really picking my favourites for romance or otherwise but Sera was never one of the concepts that particularly interested me and I must say I thought she'd be straight or bi... actually that may have been my wishful thinking because I'm way more interested in Vivienne and Cassandra so I didn't pay much attention to Sera. It's nice to have a lesbian companion and I'm glad we do and I hope she turns out to be a great character... I'm just still hoping at least one of the other two lady companions is bi and romanceable as well. ![]()

Oh boy, here we go, another elf being the gay/bi option weeeeeee. Just get solas out of the closet already.
Really bioware? if solas ends up as the only gay/bi option for guys, my inquisitor will have a severe case of "blue balls" . I know, I'm anti-elf, but I had enough of elves being gay/bi Li's ... sigh, this is a step back from what you achieved with mass effect 3.
