They say that a picture is worth a thousand words. This picture is the male equivalent of Power Girl (linked for obvious reasons-proceed at your own risk). It's laughable, but it isn't funny because this is how women are portrayed all the time.

I would also direct everyone's attention to The Hawkeye Initiative, which does a brilliant job of demonstrating what's wrong with the way women are still often drawn in comics. (And I say that as someone who loves comics.)
The problem is not that female superheroes wear skin-tight spandex or that men are attracted to them. The problem is that they are often dressed and posed in ludicrous ways, as if the only thing that matters is how sexy they look.
It's just an opinion some of my best friends are lesbians I like Ellins talk show Rosey Odnell is very funny and so is Roseanne Barr. And I just love woman's volley ball great sport. Ellin page. She gets big kudos to. So let's be friends lesbians I have much Respect.for your movement your multicolored flags. And softball I just wanted an attractive female to Romance. Lmao at people bashing Cass and Viv, who are both actually quite beautiful, ( any real life woman with their features would be quite successful as a model ), and also those who are complaining about Sera being "taken away from them."
You know what I've noticed? BioWare unlike pretty much all other developers, seem to have created female characters/companions with their FEMALE audience in mind in regards to DAI. Kudos, BioWare.

I did know that. Bioware made LGBT history in the Star Wars universe.
And Juhani is a weird one because, while she doesn't have a true romance, she's got a romance plot line with female Revan. It's more akin to Samara, because it's not a fling nor a full-blown romance. There wasn't a romance achievement back in the KOTOR days, so it's tough to judge if she was meant to be a LI and was just poorly implemented or if she was meant to be a non-romanceable "flirt" type of character.
I tend to include her as a romance option because 1) she was clearly a lesbian (Belaya was heavily implied to be her ex-lover); 2) there was more than one romantic line of dialogue; and 3) it was pretty damned important for both Bioware games and the SW universe so i like to give her credit.

This thread is so fundamentally gross. So many people coming in and acting like Sera got taken away from them. Like she's a toy they were told they can't play with instead of a person. And then whining because the other toys aren't 'hot' enough, or in Viv's case are too intimidating . "Why sera, why did you haveta be gay *sob sob*" Well you know WHY? Because people are gay in real life and that IS FINALLY being represented in our companions. Sorry we didn't get the LI you didn't want, sorry our exclusive LI wasn't relegated to being a background character (but apparently that still pisses you all off so whatever), sorry you can still replay any Bioware game as a heterosexual male with virtually no limitations placed on you, sorry this ONE game is attempting to actually represent a greater portion of the population. Jesus, this is why the industry still has a bad rep. I swear.
