I know going though the story is a pain in the butt. But I want to see how max I can go out. So how about after you beat the game you can start over with a new game plus. Your charchter keeps there items and gold and every item added to party members which are able to be taken off. So lets say a certain ring item. It comes off of that charchter and back into your inv or storage box. If storage box is brought back.

You keep your level, exp, money, and loot and start over on the game. You can do this unlimited times as you want.

I would be up for new game + but not in the way you describe it..... replaying the game with the best gear would be pointless and likely really boring, as it would be way too easy. Arkham city did it where the game gets harder when you start your second playthrough. That to me would be the way to do it. Gear and lvl and all that would still carry over but then enemy lvls would be raised and gear drops would be a lot better. Progression-wise it should feel like your just continuing through one whole game.

I'm always for a new game plus. I would also love to keep exploring Thedas after the endgame- especially if, as has been stated, I won't be able to find everything in a playthrough.  If there is a new game plus and no epilogue it would be nice to take a different path and have all the things you found before.

Having all the talents and abiities makes it a different game and allows more experimentation. I would love not to have top go through all the trees again.

I'm really just hoping that there's "end game" content... quests that are different/available depending on your choices that show the effects the inquisition had on the world other than just saving it.

I've never been a fan of NG+ the way you describe it, OP. It's why I got bored of Dragon's Dogma NG+ and essentially just got rid of my save and started over from square one. The challenge was gone from combat.

I think it would be nice though to have some kind of end game content... Like a quest to actually go out and slay ALL the remaining dragons or something, and then get a bit of extra story out of that outcome.

Im starting to bend to not having NG+ just because of the no enemy scaling thing and mayhap turning more towards having some unlocks for further play throughs, like unlocking armor sets on a new play through that are nice looking an can be upgraded, or starting with some bonus to crafting materials sort of thing.

I honestly dont know anymore tbh, i would need to sit an play the game to form a decent opinion of what i could benefit/have fun from the most, wonder even if NG+ is sort of thing could be implemented after a release in form of a patch

Mass Effect 2 did it ok,where you get a bonus to starting cash and resources, but yeah, I don't think you should start out with the best weapons...unless they take the Mass Effect 3 path where you literally can't upgrade something all the way your first time through? ME3, one of the weirdest/frusterating parts was how you literally couldn't complete some of the armor sets until the second to last mission. In that case I wanted armor to transfer over, since you got so little time with it, and that was arbitrarily forced on you. But give me a crafting bonus/money and the freedom then to essentially get to the good stuff earlier? That's better then straight carry over imo

I'd certainly welcome a mode like the Heart of Fury in the Icewind Dale games. If the NG+ is just the normal game but played at max level and with all the good items, I don't see the point.

I wouldn't mind having a new game plus. I've heard that we might be able to continue the game after finishing the story.

Why wouldn't the enemies get stronger in a new game plus? Better loot drop so your old loot looks like garbage. I would have love to start over in the dragon age series with my stuff.  Becuase it would be fun.

Transistor did this--you could keep your level and you abilities and all of that, only all the enemies leveled up with you. But that wouldn't really work since DA:I's enemies have set levels

Are you playing on casual mode? High dragons cut in half? With one slice? How can you one hit an enemy? High dragons are no push overs. Even being level 18 I had a hard time with a high dragon. They are not easy prey.

That's how the big tear in the sky happened... Inquisitor was too OP and swung his/her sword while at the peace conference xD

Bringing in the same gear doesn't always mean you will use it. Like I said higher level gear requirements. I would love to go though dragon age orgions and dragon age 2 again with my gold and my items.

(trying to ward OP from the mob)

Folks, by "I know going though the story is a pain in the butt. ", I'm pretty sure OP means going through the largely identical dialogue AFTER finishing the game at least once once; if not, carry on.

new game plus does increase game longevity, but this feature often comes with greater challenges and rewards not even possible on the first playthrough.

Take the...ahem...visual novel game, <<Wish Upon A Shooting Star>>, as an extreme example: you don't get the "true" ending until about the 8th playthrough.

My disturbing exposure aside, the mechanism could add replay value in another manner.

I think a fair compromise for NG+ is to simply have the abilities, but not the items, or even the sovereigns for that matter.

Have to bring the sovereigns over. Not worth going all the way though with my high level chachter with gear that levels up as you do only to get that gear later on and it be super weak.  Level+sovereigns+armor and weapons.

I say no.

Reason, I maxed what I could with Skyrim equipment by making my own armor and weapons with my choice e nchantments. Having this gear I created before questing found all relics and artifacts to be useless. The only thing that hurt me was a surprise elder dragon attack. Otherwise even they was one hit wonders with my axe.

So, high end gear versus unleveled creatures wouldnt be fun. Killing Aduin was a joke. Dragons Dogma, I finished it once but never went back to finish through my second play through with NG+ yet as no real challenge.

You think you would not be taking damage. Have you play on nightmare mode? Even with the best gear. Harder challages will exist. Enemies could get a major boost on harder diffculties and each new game plus increase enemies level, loot drop, better loot, and more powerful bosses.
