Why is Mass Effect 4 only for Xbox One and PlayStation 4? Has EA Completely given up on the PC?

They'd have to be insane not to sell it on PC.

EA is a console show, as far as I know. 

 

For the same reason, Microsoft only spoke about Xbox, and nothing about games for Windows. 

 

But surely the game will receive a PC version.

I wouldn't worry about it, unless they use the phrase "Coming exclusively to XYZ" then it means they're still in the process of figuring out what platforms it will appear on and stuff.

 

It was the same with Tomb Raider, every single trailer and bit of information ended in "Coming to Xbox One" as if it was an exclusive, but it's not, it was just only shown on the Xbox throughout E3, I guess it was some kind of Microsoft deal.

 

The truth is until the developer explicitly says these things, you really never know exactly what platforms games are going to be released on.

Given how popular PC gaming is I doubt they would forget about it. It may come to PC later (like GTAV amount a few) but I am almost sure it would hit PC's

Its a long way from being released, so I wouldn't worry too much about that.

ME3 sold almost a million on PC, don't see why not.

I do not have any PS4/One so I hope it will be released on PC. o.O

They will release it on PC, no doubts about it. PC is the only platform where EA doesn't have to pay any royalty to anyone. Besides, ME:Next is a good addition to Origin games collection.

It will probably be something like 6 months to 1 year late on PC though

By the time it will be close to release the hype about new consoles will cease. The whole reason for Tomb Raider "exclusivity" deal was to sell more Xbox One consoles. When next ME will be released the market will stabilize and it will make no sense to limit platform availability, especially with Bioware's history of releasing games on all platforms

PCs are outdated. Didn't the first one come out late 70's or early 80's? Time to put that dinosaur to rest!
