I dunno -- Bio games are easy enough without exploits. But I'll give this a shot next time.
Admittedly, I didn't do it to make things easier, but rather because I refused to let some silly rock formation beat me.

Liara is so bad ass in ME1. Lift, Throw, Singularity.....Repeat.
And that's how you scatter the roaches.
My personal favorite squad in ME1 was Liara, Kaidan, and Adept Shepard w/SR.
Ridiculous levels of enemies flying.
At all times.
If you get hit in the Mako, you're doing it wrong.
My main point is that Shepard and friends do much more damage. Why spend minutes driving around in circles around some random organic merc who pops Immunity on Insanity when I can hop out, float him to prevent said Immunity spamming, and hose him down with bullets in a few seconds.

Oh, I see. Hmm. I'll have to time it next time I've got such an option. I haven't noticed that the squad on foot actually does that much more damage.

Its sorta wild the difference. Hell, you can **** up anything on foot if you prep properly.
I liked the Mako sections of the first game. I know it was mostly climbing 70 degree inclines at a snail's pace, but the feel of exploring a distant world was great. I really enjoyed the visuals.
Also, as mentioned above, Liara is ridiculously powerful in the first game. I always bring her when fighting the Thorian.
And if ME1 had actually been about an explorer,it would have been a perfect fit.
I think if the polygon count of the mountains had been higher (a relic of it being developed on the Xbox I suspect) leading to less ridiculous ridge edges and vertical surfaces, then exploration wouldn't have been half as painful.
BdtS improved on this a lot, much easier to drive around.
I hope that the next game includes harsh weather conditions for certain planets.
Dynamic weather, ecosystems (with wildlife) unique to each planet, terrain and geography (jungles, deserts, grasslands etc). I want to explore the MEU like never before.

Don't forget wildlife.

I didn't...

Easy Sierra 117. Easy.

From when are we talking about here?
You could make a few paragraphs about the plot issues of all three games. If you want to criticize the storylines, it'd be disingenuous to restrict it to the third game.
