So I was wondering, does anyone else believe the ominous and cryptic warning Morrigan gave to the Warden in Witch Hunt refers to the events of Inquisition? It would certainly seem whatever is happening with the holes in the sky could be considered cataclysmic and would forever change the world. And if so, Flemeth must be involved, it seemed to me at least Morrigan was implying Flemeth was a danger beyond the Warden's comprehension as the reason for the Warden to go hunting Flemeth instead of her.

Still further, Morrigan said she left something for the warden, but it isnt revealed what. Does anyone believe this (or well running off with Morrigan "Beyond the Fade") could be the reason for the Warden disappearing?  If I recall, in KOTOR 2 it was revealed the Warden like Revan (Silent and super powerful Protagonist from KOTOR 1) learned of a grave threat to the Galaxy and disappeared without a trace hunting it. It seems this could certainly be the situation with the Warden. Though Bioware totally unceremoniously killed Revan in some book in a rather pathetic way by the time of the Old Republic MMO, I am really hoping thats not the Warden's fate.

I imagine many people would be rather pissed to come across their Warden's corpse in some dungeon somewhere.

not really no. Warden is a deadman walking anyway.

besides we have a new champion.

I'd be surprised if they kill off the Warden without even making a big deal out of it. Fans have made it pretty crystal clear that they wouldn't like that.

At the end of Witch Hunt, Morrigan left my Warden an open book before travelling through the Eluvian. The DLC ended just as my Warden was about to read it.

I WANT TO KNOW WHAT WAS IN THAT BOOK!

It's been ages since I played DA:O, but from what I remember, it was heavily intimated that Avernus' alchemical concoction could extend the life of a warden ... and you have the option of ingesting it (this was in the Warden's Keep dlc).

Yeah, there are a lot of questions that are gonna be answered this time around regarding the Warden, Morrigan and Flemeth. I hope and think that the Warden will not be found dead. He/she isn't a deadman walking or whatever. I know for a face that Witch Hunt has a connection to Inquisition because of what Morrigan says and what happens in after. And I for one want to know what the hell she gave my Warden(s) as a gift!!!!!

The book is likely an Elvish Eluvian Manual. If the Warden left with Morrigan Finn translated it for Arianne and they went on Dr. Who like adventures throughout Thedas. I'm more interested in knowing what happened to the Warden (and Dog) and Morrigan when they went through the mirror.

Morrigan's warning about Flemeth is why I attribute all the chaos in Dragon Age II to Flemeth's melding. I feel like she was stirring things up and reaping the benefits of the shed blood in that giant creepy as heck blood basin underneath the city. I would not be surprised if she is behind the inital rift tear as well.

I am curious to see if a Warden who accompanied Morrigan will be at her side when Morrigan shows up in DA: I. Also looking foward to see my non-Old God-possessed child (as a I had Loghain do the ultimate sacrifice).

The main connection i see is more illumination on Cadash Thaig, and it's connection to Arlathan. I'm sure the Eluvian will come into play somewhere, but there's all kinds of ways they could. Merrill and Briala, and not only Morrigan.

While it was hinted, there was no proof that it would actually work.  You may hope that it will extend the warden's life, but don't be too shocked if it doesn't actually work.

Overall, I don't think Flemeth is the "big bad."  When you return the amulet in DA2, she says something like "I am a bit of flotsam to cling to in the coming storm."  As she wasn't present for the rest of DA2, I doubt she was talking about the events in DA2 but rather the greater events coming in DAI.

P.S.  I thought what Morrigan left the Warden was the book?

Morrigan apparently works for/under Celene now so I don't see the Warden showing up beside her regardless.

For all we know he's dead.

I have a horrible feeling that, if the Inquisitor goes to the location of the Eluvian, they'll find a pile of canine bones in front of it.

They're not gonna kill off an important character off-screen.

On a big sidenote, I'd really like to see Ariane again.

In Heroes of Dragon Age, she's actually one of the highest ranking characters. Legendary status. I wonder why they did that. That's a category reserved for all the important characters (Flemeth, only the king version of Alistair, etc).

I think the events of Witch Hunt could be a foreshadowing of the events of Inquisition.  It seems BioWare has been seeding the events from Inquisition all along.  having mainline plots, at least in Origins, but then having sub plots and side quests...same with 2.  And a lot of the media, side quests, DLC, and others seem to be setting up one huge event.  That event looks like the one in Inquisition.  Though I imagine BioWare wants to continue the series after Inquisition, a lot of the plot lines seem to be pointing to Inquisition.

I don't expect it to happen, but it wouldn't surprise me.

I think Hawke has a far better chance of somehow showing up than the Warden.

I don't think the Warden or Hawke will show up. Especially without direct save importing, they have no way of knowing what our Warden or Hawke looked like. Unless the Keep allows us to recreate them, which I seriously doubt. The only logic solution would to tell people their Warden/Hawke isn't canon anymore and I seriously doubt they'd do that. Even if they did, they'd have to give Warden/Hawke dialog outside of our control and I think seeing your character suddenly not be the person you made them would be a big problem. Inevitably they'd say something that was "wrong" for your version of them. Not to mention that in the Warden's case a lot of people had their Warden die, so it'd be silly for them to have the Warden be a major player.

I know this is likely to be controversal, but imo I think it would be to bioware's interests to make the Dragon God baby 'canon.' I mean, the /fade is basically another dimension, who's to say other normal dimensions exist beyond. As silly as that sounds though, the dragon god is way too interesting imo to not include.

They already have their own internal/default playstate. It's the Ultimate Sacrifice (with a Dalish warden). That doesn't mean they wouldn't address the baby though (for those who have it).. just that this is apparently their own default.
