You can use any model that has animations as a supermodel (to borrow said animations).
Your new model will need to be set up with the moving parts named the same as the supermodel, with those parts in basically the same exact locations (so that the other model's animations can tell the new ones where to go). Then you could easily scale the new model up or down with gmax (or whatever).
