.....I'm playing an MC in a Bioware game....that kind of goes without saying. Long before Commander Shepard was killing Reapers on foot, The Bhaal Spawn was cutting their way through entire armies after killing Red Dragons, and taking on beings with literally god like power....why should I suddenly give into the demands of some wanna-be deity demanding I sacrifice one of my crew?
Because despite all this the God of Death always gets her way.
The God of Death demanded a sacrifice from Shepard and despite being the Universe's ultimate bad ass and only hope he had to make a choice between Kaidan and Ashley, the God of Death also demanded a sacrifice from the Bhaalspawn as well and no matter what happened she could not save Yoshimo from his fate.

Well, the Inquisitor is in the picture, right? Can I offer him?

Well I did say the choice was pertaining to the 12 disciples so no, besides if you kill the Inquisitor you will have no vessel to experience the game through.

Damn, I was hoping his plot armor to help him through the ordeal. Crafty bastard.
Leliana. I've given her up once, I'll give her up again.
And Cole. For some reason I have no interest in him at all.
The implication that Cullen has any value what so Ever is foolish. The only reason he is here is to pander to fan girls/boys. That is literally his on reason for existence in the game. Thus I offer him to the god of death. Sure the writers will say otherwise saying " Oh we think there is a potential good story for him." Nope. The true reason is to pander. The same reason he got a spot in DA2.
Out of curiosity do you have a problem with Morrigan, Leliana, Tali, Miranda, Samara, Garrus and Liara? Or is Cullen the only "fanservice" character you oppose?
Oh and the Citadel DLC? I assume you've played Mass Effect given your avatar.

The key difference between those characters was that they were part of the main cast. They had purpose to them. If for example they had further plans for Leliana, they shouldn't have allowed players to kill her in the Urn quest. It just pissed people off. Cullen was just a minor side character that had no baring on the plot whatsoever. The only reason he moved forward was he got a few fans swooning.
- Invites God of Death to the party.
- Sends out God of Death to God of Death.
