Sorry if this has been posted b4, I couldnt find any relevent topics concering this.
Right, I have a save that I have completed everything in it (or atleast I think I have) but could not reach level 60. So I started a new campaign just so I could.
My question is, when using the import save mechanic in ME2 does it import the fully completed save or the one where I reached lvl60 and is like 1/3 of the game through?
thx.

I'd actually like an answer to this situation as well. Does the game just look at the Extreme Power Gamer achievement for all characters or do you actually have to have an endgame save with a level 60 to get the bonus? I just finished up another run on my Vanguard, and he is about 80k short of 60. I really don't want to do another full run to get 60, especially since all of the decisions and such from this last one are exactly how I want to set up for ME2.

If you are only 1/3 thru on the 2nd one and therefore have not "finished" the game, then that one is useless. When the game ends it creats a end game file, it is THAT file that in transferrable to ME2.
The file will look something like this;
"Char_01-60-2-3-2-25-10-2009-31-53.MassEffectSave"
Each time you FINISH the game this file is created. So for eg if you wanted to have both endingings in relation to the council you could finish the game with saving the council........... the go back and let them die and finish the game again.
It will create two of thos files and both will transfer to ME2.
Hope this helps

I have it on xbox 360 but my question was similar. I have completed the game and wish to do the new game plus thing, but if i do this will it void my current completed game save? Or will ME2 still import my completed game even if i'm currently replaying with that character?

Not sure on the achievements.... You DO get bonuses if you import a Lvl 40,50,60 character, but don't think in relies on achievement.
As for xbox, do't they also create an end game file? If so, then same applies I would say.
Hey Mordin, are you on xbox or pc?

If you're level 60, supposedly you start at level 5 in ME2, iirc.
IMO, not worth bothering, but ymmv.
