Just found out that Duncan's voice actor is American so he was indeed the first human male with an American accent. Looks like the Inquisitor won't be the first human male but could be the first Fereldan man.

Well, a bit disappointed that it wasn't Grey DeLisle, Laura Bailey, Tara Platt or pretty much anybody I was hoping for at all. I don't know her at all actually, which might mean she'll be great or bad! How intriguing!

In Bioware's past, she played Nyreen in Mass Effect 3: Omega DLC.
She's also been in some animated shows, like Arcee in Transformers: Prime or Katana in Beware the Batman.

EDIT:
She's also Eirena the Enchantress from Diablo 3.
That's awesome!
Don't know who the guys are though.

Very interesting, his voice acting was pretty good imo. I wonder how he sounds without using his Zevran accent. Looks like I'm using him for my first Inquisitor (Human Male). Thanks for the info.

And just about every single male Forsworn NPC in Skyrim.

Chaps, there's no such things as a single British accent. There are loads of different accents in Britain. The Inquisitor actors are speaking with English accents.

Seriously, the UK has like 20 different accents, and I'm only exaggerating by a small margin.
In any case, I really REALLY hope we get something change the pitch of our quizzys, be it Saint's Row's pitch slider or Dragon Dogma's pitch preset selection of 3 choices, one a couple tones lower, the other a couple tones higher and the other regular for each of the four voices (my favorite solution) Then I'll be happy *is intent on making an elf with a more gentler voice*

I'm Scottish, and we have more than 20 accents on our own! ![]()
The pitch slider/preset sounds like a good idea. It won't get over the old 'the Inquisitor sounds like a posh English bird, and I don't problem, but it would help. ![]()

That's so cool didn't know that. I know there are so many variants depending on where people live and they can be so simple as just what class or whatever how that junk works *is a stupid american and is slightly naive and ignorant* It's kind of like how there are a couple of "American" accents that we ourselves have depending on state even.
ANYWAY BACK ON TOPIC
Yeah. i listened to both VA's Some of the English VA's other works and a short interview and a Demo Reel offered by Jon Curry who's the American sounding voice. And they're both pretty deep in a sense that i can't describe. I just wanted to create my own voice for my Elf, hopefully using the American voice since I'm gonna be all throwbacky and go back to how Origins had them sounding American. It just bothered me how I couldn't really make a Shep/Hawke I liked because his default face fitted his voice the best in my opinion.

Brother Genitivi also has an American accent, doesn't he?

Yes, Genitivi has an American accent, though I have seen suggestions that he's not from Ferelden (probably because of the accent, mind you!).

Except, by that logic (and I agree with the general gist!) there's no such thing as an English accent either. There are at least a dozen English accents. The actress playing Sera, for example, is from Derbyshire (according to IMDB), so I'm really hoping some of her native norhern accent will come through and she won't be required to speak in the bland, accentless version of English (Received Pronunciation) that pretty much everyone in DA2 used.
But hey, there'll be more people buying this in the US than the UK, I assume, and - as far as that side of the Atlantic is concerned - we Brits all speak like Keira Knightley or Michael Caine. There is no inbetween! ![]()
Anyway, the point I was really going to make is this: does anyone know if the voiceover for the new Choices and Consequences trailer is Sumalee Montano, the US FemQuisitor? It's a bit softer, but I keep thinking I can hear traces of Nyreen from the ME3 Omega DLC. Anyone know one way or the other?
